April update: got the third LCD in . . . but can't find the damned AMD eyefinity dongle in stock anywhere so the 3rd screen can't be put into use yet.

I have one for sale. But don't those have native displayport

Edit : Oh you must mean the mini displayport

Personally, I think the crooked lampshade really completes the look. It says "yeah...this is my desk, and if I want a crooked lampshade, goddammit, I'll have a crooked lampshade". :p ;)

Haha, I wish I had a different lamp in my room. As for it being crooked, I want the base of the lamp against the wall at the back of the desk but the lampshade doesn't allow it without being crooked! Without the lampshade, it's too bright.

Cut the back of the lampshade off so that the edges meet the wall when the base does. That would work I think. haha.

Why are both displays angled back like that? Probably throwing off the color if they are TN's.

It's not throwing off any colors. It's simply the angle in which the images look best for my seating position. The angle of the shot also multiples the appearance of said angles.

Perhaps he's very tall?

Perhaps ;)
But that's not the case this time. I would've thought the same thing.

Finally got around to getting something worthy of posting, albeit not very spectacular (details in sig):

The next thing on the list to get is a Herman Miller. Then my life will be complete.

Just set everything up today

@jebro

1. I really like the design of your site. Good job. No content...but good job :)

2. What speaker stands are those?

Also got a question for you, Jebro. Is that fan controller a logisys fan master? If so, do you have a problem with it flickering when you turn the brightness down?

1. Haha, work in progress as you noticed, but thanks. :)

2. Got the stands here: http://www.speakerstandsonline.com/Wood-Technology-WT-5.5-WT0051.html

Kind of cheaply made, but they work. Hard to find speaker stands that short so not many choices. Probably better off making your own.

It's a Vantec from about 3 years ago, haven't had any brightness or issues with it.

Awesome +10 for the monitors are those Samsung 2433's I have one of those it is great. +10 for being a pens fan too. :)

Yeah I love my Samsungs, they are amazing. They just announced The Winter Classic is going to be hosted in Pittsburgh, can't wait for that, go pens!

Hey there Jebro nice setup and I wanted to comment on your site it is very nice.

How do you extend your taskbar but leave it in the middle? Can you have multiple bars in win 7?

I use ultramon. You should give it a try, lets you extend the taskbar to multiple monitors as well as different wallpapers and screensavers for each monitor.

Some "DUNCE" (apparently my other term was too emotional for some) who posts on another set of tech forums posted his "setup" and I couldn't resist making a "demotivational" poster out of it...

You can't expect a cat (even one who needs and can make use of a computer workspace) to have enough foresight to put together a proper work area. I think that's pretty damn clever for a cat!

You make a good point. I never would have thought that the setup belonged to the cat.

No kidding...Z(+)DIAC, your post was pretty much the type of bullshit that gets people on my ignore list. You may not care about being on an ignore list, but I figured I'd just let you know.
