Cheapest way to get a Motorola Droid??? VZW

I am a current VZW customer and am up for my new every two. What is the cheapest way for me to get the Motorola Droid? So far, Wal-Mart is the cheapest at about $100. I looked it up on my account on www.verizonwireless.com and it was $149.

Are there some ways that I'm missing? Thanks in advance.
 
Amazon has it too if you're up for an upgrade or new ($19.99).

I go through more than 250 in a day lol. Don't get me started on how most Verizon/ATT customers pay $240 more a year than other carriers. Subsidization is the only reason you can get cheap phones from Verizon.

LOL not really. Most of its chit chat and school related stuff. Actually, I'm not sure if its really quite that many a day, I was trying to be a little facetious in that post.

Get Google voice and use the google voice app to do your texting. Pay nothing.
 
Keep in mind that the Droid is rather old now and will be replaced in the coming months with the shadow (likely).

rather old? It came out Nov last year. If you wanted to say 'comparatively slower without rooting' I could get behind that, but to call a 6-months-going phone 'rather old' is quite a stretch.
