A decent 3x4gb kit?

While browsing the egg for memory, I stumbled across this triple 4gb kit from OCZ for $380 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...&cm_re=ocz_reaper_ddr3-_-20-227-538-_-Product

I can't find any information online about who the IC manufacturer is, nor much in the way of reviews. I definitely like the price, but I'm a bit concerned as other 3x4gb kits are going for $470 and then $600+. Can anyone help shed some light on this mystery?

it seems to be running at higher voltage than all the other 1333mhz 3x4's (albeit, according to newegg), so probably cheaper, "slightly overclocked from the factory" ram?

Not sure who the IC is, but I recently (as in today) got a 2x4 kit of what seems to be exactly the same RAM. So far, so good, on stock voltage/speeds. DDR 1600 speed seems fine too, although I haven't done much with it.

IMO the timings and voltage for the speed are not stellar...

And this is because it is very difficult and expensive to manufacture 4GB DIMMs in any speed faster than 1333 or with timings tighter than 9-9-9-24 or with voltages less than 1.80V (which would have been out of spec for an Intel processor-based system). The yields on high-speed, high-performance and low-voltage 4GB DIMMs have so far been piss-poor compared to their 2GB counterparts.
