Truth be told, Falcon NW actually did a very good cabling job, BUT their was still alot of room for improvement. I swapped out the fans, sleeved some cables, rearranged some drives and rewired it to my liking.

That is a beauty.

Okay guys, time to rate my cable salad!

The old case, now gone:

The new case, current configuration:

Ok rate my cable job:

Not the best but working with limited room/options due to it being a rackmount case and the SFF-8087 cables being so long.

Here is my work comp:

I think I did a bit better of a job with that one. Sorry for the bad angle.

Just got this CM Storm Sniper in the newegg combo deal, first case I've had with a see-through side panel, so thought I'd give this cable routing business a try.

Shitty pic and I still have the IDE cd rom drive in...

Photos coming soon from eab16hatchie.

Specs are in my sig...this system is fairly out of date at this point, but it's more than adequate for my purposes. Still need to rotate the heatsink so it points upward, but my temps are pretty good, so it's hard to be motivated to do it. Upgrades are on hold for now...getting married in July :)

There's only so much you can do with an Antec Three Hundred without cutting into the backplate:

gigatexal: Lay off quoting all the pics. Know how to erase the pics from the quote? Then do it.

Here's mine when I had the Antec 300 case;

Since then, I've replaced the case with a Coolermaster 690 II Advanced case, crossfired the HD5770's, Got a Corsair H50, AMD 1090t, Corsair HX650 Modular PSU, and another 30gb SSD for Raid0.

That just seems unnecessary in an HTPC ;)

Looks like the LianLi PC-37B though which is what we have for our HTPC... Nice case... We stuffed 3 HDD's in there though and the blu-ray drive and it's a bit of a mess..

Best I can do in some an extremely small and shitty case. Yes, my HDD's are in the 5.25's to save space, I had to rip out the old HDD cage.

Fileserver motherboard downgrade (785G full ATX + X4 II 620 to ION+Atom 330) + PSU swap (HX520 to Seasoni S12II-330 Bronze) :

Power consumption with 1 hard drive on and 7 in standby went down from 62W to 41W.

Fold those satas inward so they're not jutting out. Hide the random fan connectors coming out of the drive bays. Rotate the cpu fan so you can hide the cable a bit. Can't really tell what's up in the top of the bay area, but most of your unused cables should be able to tuck in there a bit nicer than they are. Other than that, I'd say get another case :p

Gonna take some pictures of my A05B since I just redid it after I added my blow hole. Just need to charge the camera battery.

See guys? It is possible to not be a prick.

Anyway, thanks. That top area has the front panel USB and sound headers going on, and as much cabled as I can go for. I will definitely plop those sata cables in or at least give it a try. Those fan connectors go to the case door not pictured, where there are two fans waiting their sweet powery goodness.

Finally got this uploaded.
LL A05B, Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H, Phenom II 550BE @ 3.75 (stock volts), Thermalright Ultra 120, 4x1gb Dominator (borrowing these), Nvidia 9800gt (oem pull), 120gb sata os drive, 160gb ide music drive (temp), and Seasonic 550w. Fans are Yate Loon D12SM-12 (front and back), and CPU/blowhole are the stock LL fans.

Haha, well your being pretty ridiculous, if you go back and read your posts you will realize where those people are coming from, and how about this idea, sell a vid card and buy your self a nice case for you nice system. Just seems rude to put all that into a shitty little case.

You posted your stuff in the "rate my cables" thread. We aren't being "pricks", we're just doing what everyone does in this thread...critique the rigs and give suggestions. I'm not playing the seniority card here, but yes this is a quality forum, as you recognized. We (at least I) don't mean to put anyone down or anything like that. We're just telling you what we think. People around these forums are brutally honest.

Yeah...that case ^ is one of the nicest looking ones I've seen in a while. And the blacked out cabling inside looks amazing.

Painted my case yesterday. Best I could do with the cables in this M9 case. Help me decide which color to re-sleeve the cables with. Black or Orange?

Yep it's the PC-37B. I am a cabling freak, even HTPC needs the same treatment lol

Very nice, both of them :)

again loving the black...sweet cases

Thank you fellas

You have no idea how jealous I am of you owning this case...I've wanted this ever since I first saw one.

There is the PURE BLACK version out I think, which is basically the Black Label without the price tag

hchristian, what PSU are you using in the first -- the Cosmos setup? Or did you mod an enclosure somehow?

It's a Seasonic X750. I just slapped on the carbon fiber on the side to hide the hideous stickers
