Logitech G27 = $149.99 at BB

checked my midlothian, va store today. Took it up to the register, still rang up 299  ... I had $30 in reward zone cards too.

I found one in each of the BB stores local to northwest Louisiana.

...and something new might come out, but it won't replace the g27. It might replace the logitech gt force or somewhere near that price point. The g27 just came out last august.

I think so, too. They've got separate xbox/pc and ps3/pc models, and the lap adapter never worked out, and it's got a mess of wires. They need to consolidate to reduce costs, and fix some of the usability issues. Probably the G27 mechanicals, cheaper parts and packaging, and more compatible software.

No i did not, It was at one of their terminals that they have throughout the store. I'm not going to buy the wheel at $300, but I will at $150, therefore I didn't feel like causing a scene at the register.

I would have made a huge scene, but they told me 150 and then pulled that 300 shit when I got there, unfortunately I was in uniform and would have been late to work.

checked 3 BB's yesterday and no dice, will hit the remaining store tomorrow just because...

Im so torn up seeing this. If I would have pre ordered this a year ago, I'd be much happier.

I love my PC games, but when GT5 comes out, move out PC and hello PS3. I also wouldn't mind using it for forza3.

With all of the PC racing titles out, especially in the past five years, Gran Turismo now just seems so... so...

So last decade...

GT5 really is just a year or two too late... The PS3 price cuts even came (and went) before GT5... I wouldn't be surprised by an additional price cut again by the time GT5 actually hits shelves...

went looking for this at my bestbuy in upstate NY, didn't find any on the shelves

I did find the XBOX 360 Wireless Racing wheel on clearance for $49.99 instead, supposedly that can also be jury-rigged to work with PCs.

If you can find a way to get force feedback working on the PC, let us know!

All bestbuys around me have them, but at the full price still according to their RSS system. It does show up as a deleted item from their warehouse so they might start putting a clearance price to them soon. I hope so, and hope I get one.

I don't get what the deal is with these wheels. It is showing out as out of stock everywhere online, except for a few places now selling it a lot higher than they used to. It certainly looks like it is either being discontinued or some kind of stock reduction is going on.

No one in dfw picked one up just to pick one up did they? I finally got in on my first beta test and its for Simbins new game. Well I drug out the ol Act Labs Force RS setup with clutch pedal and shifter to find its not supported past win xp. There are work arounds to get it to work with win 7 using a Saitek wheels drivers although this doesn't work for me. :-(

Pretty sad that Act Labs has gone communist on its loyal supporters. I'll make sure to never dump hundreds of dollars with them from now on thats for sure.

Might want to look at this thread: http://www.racesimulations.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=22788

Sorry OP...Notnyt is right. That's what I meant to say....but had a bit of brain fade. Either way you won't be disappointed with either wheel.
