If you are hurting for space at home or work, this aluminum foldaway office would be pretty cool. Obviously this will only appeal to people that live in cramped quarters / small offices but I like the idea of closing up my whole desk at night to save space.

Just as long as I get to keep my red Swingline stapler.

HEY! I could finally lock my shit up so the kids stay off my fucking computer.

I know what I want for fathers day.

Looks like it could get knocked over or pushed around easily. It is on wheels so if your floors aren't level you'd be taking a trip to the other side of the room.

lol you could always get a letter desk to lock away your computer when you're not using it.

Well, that's pretty sweet. Reminds me of Bruce Willis' apartment in The Fifth Element.

I think its a great idea, think of it this way: Game Room or Office, now you can have both!

How long until the LAN party edition? finding proper places to put a computer is always an issue at LAN parties.

But where do I put my Cheetos and Redbull?

beer hat (or whatever those hats are called) would work for the red bull and save you from having to pick it up to take a drink which is actually better.

not sure about what to tell you for the cheetos.

Make a Cheetos smoothie and put it in an IV line.

A friend was joking about marketing IV nutritional supplements for MMO players, still think their is money in that. I suggesting adding stimulants (Caffeen, dietary supplements or some other form of legal speed).

good thought, althought i guess you wouldnt really need an IV. just put your redbull on one side fo the hat, the cheetos smoothie on the other side and have a straw for each side.

Somebody try that and let us know how it works out. :D

They already make something you can lock to keep kids/wife/whoever out and in a nice looking piece of furniture with finish of your choice. You just have to find one you like and pick it out. It's called a " computer armoire" and it would actually look nice in your home and be comfortable to use unlike this metal monstrosity.

I'm pretty sure the cubicle in the OP is meant for office environments. Specifically, trailer office environments for construction sites, mills and plants.

I had one of these. I actually liked it, but didn't fold it up much. As a desk it was pretty functional and I liked that I could move it around to where I liked it. Mine wasn't solid wood though, so it got beat up pretty bad after ten years. The top of it now sits out in the garage as a cabinet for crap out there. :p

Looks like something Less Nessman would love.
You know, the news guy from the old TV show "WKRP in Cincinnati."
With this, he could finally have walls for his office instead of the tape outline on the floor around his desk. :D
