Is it possible to turn the hard drives around in this case?

OH MY GOD WHERE DID YOU GET A DESK WITH AN ANGLED BACK LIKE THAT!

I have this horrible 45* angled corner in my room where my desk is and I can't do anything with it, it's a useless space and I hate it, please help me!

Note: In the "office shots" you will see a FT02 case which I have replaced now with a PC-P50 (not in the office shots). You can see the PC-P50 in the pictures below. Also, I know my wiring job in the PC-P50 sucks but after I spent eons getting everything setup I was like screw it, I'm not going to open the case up and oogle at it. :)

xveganx, it's possible if i use a dremel and remove a lip on the backside of the hdd cage. i've been thinking of doing it, too. with my new side panel with a rectangular window, the hdd and optical cages aren't seen unless i remove the side panel. i ordered a new power cable for the hdd's today. that will get rid of the cable over the top of the hdd's.

thanx for the reply.

I almost went with that case, but decided to do a mATX build instead and bought a V351

Built this with extra & left over parts i had from different builds. It is dedicated to WCG only. This is the Lian Li V351.

(i7 975EE, Evga Micro X58, 4890 XFX, 2X 300gb Raptor Hdd in raid 0, 6gb of 1866Mhz Corsair Ram & 700Watt OCZ psu)

I recently purchased a LanCool PC-K62 because my V1000BW was getting a little cramped. The K62 was nice, but was a tad heavy to suit me. The cable management was great, however!

In the end, I ended up packing it back up as a friend at work wanted to buy it. I went back out to the garage, got the trusty V1000, cleaned it up & loaded it back up. :)

One of these days when I get up the nerve i'm going to try & do the MurderMod thing on these cables. When that day gets here, i'll probably get out the Dremel & do a little cutting in the back to help with cable management a little better. I was just anxious to get it up & going this time. :)

Anyone have the Lian Li B10? How quiet is your build? Does that front door ever really get to you?

Kind of considering the B10, PC-9 (not sure though), P50, the A71F, and the A77F. Learning towards a case that is similarly sized to the Antec 300 though.

Jeez, it's like you change your setup everyday :p Why did you change the cf 4870's to a 5850?

Let's see.......It's faster, supports DX11, 3 monitor eyefinity, it's faster, it's new, it kicks ass, it's faster and the most important reason of them all............He can.

haha not that often :p I switched out for the 5850 for reason that wra18th stated and also the fact that 4870's would produce so much heat and consume twice the power while only gaining me around 5% performance. I got 26.5k in 3dmark06 with the dual 4870's and 26.2k with the single 5850.

also the fact I made $20 bucks upgrading to the newer card didn't hurt lol

But it doesn't look as cool

this is true. the 4870's looked pretty awesome but i couldn't stand the amount of heat they would spit out during gaming. it was ridiculous.

Function > Form. ALWAYS.

Sorry Fella but the CF 4870's are faster.

That's pretty sweet, the top 120mm's are pushing air in right?

You guys should also keep your eyes out for a mod i'm doing on the a05b. I'm going to fill all the vents and such up with some filler to stop the cool air from escaping, paint the whole thing with black enamel, do some touch ups on some of my cuts, cover the whole inside in dynamat, paint all the thumbscrews, mod the controller, sleeve the wires, put on some new feet, new buttons and much more.

Still using my ancient V1200+ II ;)

So very tempted by the 800D, gonna order a mesh fan holder and the mesh bezels for this though.

nope I got them acting as exhaust. Just makes sense that way. the GPU isn't starved for air by any means.

instead of ordering the mesh bezels, you could hop down to lowes and buy this mesh (comes as just plain aluminum) and make a solid front piece like mine.

Would be a 6,000 mile hop :p

Can get the proper bezels for £9, so may as well do that.

that is true, was just a suggestion, mainly because it makes it a bit unique. Post up some more pictures when you have it all re-assembled.

Just ordered a Lian Li PC-A70F from newegg.ca and I'm dying for it to get here. My current case has some major vibration issues and I can't wait to be rid of it.

Man gotta love the V series Li Li's hey, got one myself and i reckon i'll have till the day they change from ATX i've sort of grown more attached to it over time....weird but understandandable right? :D

Sweet setup. Now get yourself a nice Filco or HHKB Pro 2 and get rid of that Razer keyboard :)

After that, looks like something I would get given the money..

My Lian Li. Specs are in my sig. Its a great case and I really enjoyed playing with it. I replaced the grill covers from the stock ones with the air holes to the older style solid aluminium ones. Watercooling is exactly as is shown. Two single 120 radiators to keep the clean lines. Clear fluid, black coil wrap. Stealthed everything possible. It was a fun and frustrating project.

If I ever have to do it all over again, I might just go the simple route. I'm glad I did it, but it was a lot of work getting it set up the exact way I wanted it. :) No pain no gain.

((edit))
PS: I don't know how you guys take such good pics of your rigs. This took a ton of time just to produce a handful of pictures that were "ok" quality.

You just need something like a DSLR to take higher quality pics. There's only so much a point-and-shoot can do.

I wish this case was still available for sale @ Newegg. I would have bought it instead of the A05N
