Anyone actually get the free stuff they sign up for in the free stuff section?

The only thing I ever got was a coupon for a free cup of yogurt, nothing else arrived.

I've signed up for around 100 things, and gotten >10

I've gotten quite a few free things.

The problem is a lot of these things are from small businesses that expect to send out maybe 100 free items to locals who know the company.

Once the shit gets posted on [H]ot Deals or SlickDeals and thousands of people are ordering free stuff there's no way they can afford it and they just ignore most of the requests.

I got an oakley sunglasses bag and samples of food and other stuff, magazines and such.

Surprisingly I have received most free magazines and accessories such as camera strap I signed up for. Though I don't just sign up for everything as I hate junk mail piling in my mail box

I've received a fair amount of stuff, especially while I was in college, a time that I was seeking out more deals than I am now.
