I'm definitely a little annoyed that they gave us this demo so far in advance of the release...I'm itching to play the full thing (and have my progress saved!).
I hope you're joking. Besides, they want you to anxiously anticipate it.

I like my demos to arrive months after the release.

I can't stop playing this game that came outta no where for me. I was shocked when the game loaded it up and it actually ran well with everything on high on my mid end system.
As others had said, I'm baffled at the draw distance, it's ridiculous. Pretty much a must buy on the 26th.
Only thing they should work on before game comes out is the controls, especially for cars, holy smokes, not good.
Where can you find water? I can't seem to get to any.
So on the map is it lower left, upper right? I need this water!
The demo is definitely a lot more fun when you remove the pesky thirty-minute time limit.
Details?
You can also remove the map limmitation by doing the following:
Download Hex workshop here http://www.bpsoft.com/downloads/
Install, File>Open the game executable from
Crogram Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonjust cause 2 demoJustCause2.exe
Edit>GoTo
Type: 03F206D
Change the value 75 to EB
Save, start the game
But did anybody else notice how when your character steps out of the water his clothing is dark and clinging to his skin? Then over the course of about ten minutes his clothes gradually dry off. Attention to detail like that is always extremely promising for a game.

There's one town that's right on the water -- water access is limited (as the out of bounds area is fairly restrictive), but it's there. It does look beautiful.
how do you get there?...when facing the transformer at the beginning of the demo which direction do you have to go from there?
Details?

It feels like Mercenaries 2 without the bugs, especially the colors. The graphics are better, but I'm not blown away. It's stays at 60fps @ 1920x1200, 4xAA, 16xAF, everything max.
I think it's the closest thing we'll ever see to what Mercenaries 2 should have and could have been in concept.
I just saw this demo download an update for itself over Steam. Not often I see demos getting updated. Any idea what happened?
Just some fixes to people using Nvidia cards with older drivers.
how do you access the black market?

Mouse definitely feels weird in this game. It's not like mouse acceleration, more like just plain lag.
EDIT: Ok, some of that was VSync, but even with VSync turned off it still dosent feel right.
I had the same problem when I first started playing the demo. It felt "weird," but I tweaked the sensitivity and I got used to it. My y axis is higher than the x.
My problem now is the graphical blur effect the game uses. It really fucks with my eyes.
This demo is fantastic - I will most certainly be buying the game. This game seems like Grand Theft Auto crossed with Bionic Commando. It's really how that abominaion of a game Bionic Commando should have been.
I've found some fancy helos with rockets and laid waste to several "towns" lol its fantastic and when they send out another one to take me on if I don't outright destroy them I just ditch mine and hijack theirs!
In the demo there is one spot over a ravine that has a road on eitehr side dead ending like there should be a bridge there. I got up to full speed and rammed about 3 cars/bikes into there while I jumped out and parachuted across to the other side to do it again. Hilarity was ensured. If only the cars didn't disappear over time at the bottom.
I also saw an interesting glitch on another road that ended in a dead end over water - cars would fall in....then every so often they would literally be thrown out of the water like fish jumping...I hadto watch that a few times - wish I had fraps'd it. Made me laugh a lot.
I hope that everyone playing the demo is using Gibbed's mod for it:

It's got a sound glitch, to fix it you have to kill yourself with a grenade. But totally worth it!
Also there is some problem with the statues.
