Having Trouble Logging in (FF 3.6)

I created a new Firefox profile (The old one had was getting bloated file size wise) Anyway I am now having trouble staying logged in to the forum I created a new password but I know it is correct and I keep getting the User name and or password incorrect error no matter what password I use and a couple of times I got kicked off for the 15 Minutes said I used up all of my log in attempts. I do have cookies enabled and I even cleared all of the cookies to no avail
I am not having trouble with any other services just [H]ardForum

This has also been recurring to me on IE and Firefox, lately, yesterday at work me and a co worker who are members here had problems logging in, we did "the drill" and it still didn't work, we waited a while and recleared our cookies and then tried logging in again and it worked.

Not sure what the problem is exactly, probably just a hiccup, or so I hope.
 
Weird I click the back button and I am logged in again but no matter what I do it will not stay that way and anything I do enter for a password will result in a wrong password dialog and yes I checked my caps-lock key
 
I have been having the same problem but closing the browser and running ccleaner works for me...
 
I have been having issues with logging into the forum too. perhaps it has something to do with the browser cookies? example: i can log in with my id/password and i check the box so that the forum remembers me (it sets a cookie). if i close my browser and return to the site later, it still shows me as logged in. the problem that i get is when i get an email about a new post in thread that i subscribed to. when i click on the hyperlink to go to the thread, it opens it up in my browser but also shows me as not being logged in. weird. if i close than open my browser (FF 3.6) and return to the site via my bookmark, i'm logged in again.
 
Would like to say I am hacing this issue as well using Chrome. Just wont log in with my password. IE works fine.

Seems to be random. Wont work now, will come back later and it will. Also works if I go through the password reset procedure in Chrome.
 
I've been using chrome on H all day, as well i just logged out and back in without issue.
 
I also had problems logging in from home and here at work this morning using my bookmark links in FF. I even did a password reset, changed my password, logged out, and back in so FF would ask to save the new password and it would not let me login saying the new password I just typed was incorrect.

What finally worked was getting rid of www

so instead of going to http://www.hardforum.com I now go to http://hardforum.com - changed the bookmark link as well. I have no idea why logging in works without the www but not with but whatever.

Also - fwiw - this machine is running FF 3.5.8....

I could not log in this morning either..

I reset my password and logged in with www. instead of without it..

but all is working now so IDK...
 
reset my password 4 times now! wow this is fun. ill try no www from now on.. should be fixed soon i imagine
 
for me, simply shutting my browser allows me to logon if I run into this problem. I have the bookmark and password saved with Roboform, so that hasn't changed...
 
I have two computers that I've been trying to log into Hard Forum with. One, no problem. The other one will never accept my password. Changed password, same issue.

Both running Windows 7 64bit.
 
Well I'm going to join this crew as well. I had this problem all today today on multiple computers. Some IE7 and one FF3.6. It's not just FF. I don't even think it is a browser issues since I was in multiple cities today and couldn't get on anywhere on any machine. Ran CCleaner at home and was able to get on.
 
I'm having this problem; can't get in using FF at home, but fine at work. Glad to know I'm not the only one; I thought I'd been banned for a sec. :p
 
I have run into this problem twice nice. It seems if i try to log in on one comp and get the "invalid username and pw" problem, then i try to log in on another computer, it will work. Then if i go back to the first computer and log in, it works again...
