I know what some of you are going to say and I agree…the wings on this iPad protector look bulky and uncomfortable. The good news is the quilted padding provides all day long protection and the outer layer provides unparalleled wetness protection. The current price for this flashy iPad accessory is only $40....well, that and what is left of your dignity.

I don't think that the iPad will be a flop but at the same time for a product to have an accessory like this that's actually not a complete joke (ie the joke just hits WAY to close to home) isn't probably not an encouraging sign.

I think it will be a flop. I'll admit when a company makes something cool, but the iPad is by no means, cool, revolutionary, and certainly not magical. Yes, the www.apple.com website says it's magical.

With the tampon USB thumb drive puts a whole new meaning to "pulling some strings" especially with the Ipad lol

Hey, if the Ipad has the exploding/leaking battery problem, at least it will be contained in the Ipad protector.
 
Like I said, Apple products are for girls. Whether you are trapped in a mans body or not...

Maybe this will help keep them fresh so the Apple girls won't be so grouchy and defensive all the time.
 
Holy crap... I'm dying with laughter at all these comments. And if I had an iPad I'd probably get that pretty sweet idea. LOL.
 
I guess I don't understand why everyone keeps bashing the iPad so much. No, I'm not a big apple fanboy and yes I know about the devices limitations, but come on, it will be useful for some people.

I was planning on getting an iRex or a Kindle Dx this year so I can read my technical e-books, but with the iPad I can do that and browse the web too. The cheap model is the same price as the Kindle @ $499.00, so you guys do the math. Also, I am planning on writing software for the iPad to extend it's functionality, like make a driver and application for tweaking the speed controller on my electric r/c cars. So what if it won't multitask, it's my next e-book reader/browser anyway.

As for the name, I don't see why people make a big deal out of it. Sounds perfectly Apple to me. A name is just a name guys, and it doesn't sound like a tampon to me at all. Infantile.
 
That makes me wonder though, I fully expected an Xzibit pic by now considering you're having a pad cover a pad.
