When you guys OC, use GPU tool test for stability option.... how long do you let it run without errors, where you considered it "passed"? Or should I say stable?

Thanks!

I use furmark and let it run for about 10 minutes. But then that depends on what kind of clocks i am pushing to the time i use it. But it will fail before then if something is wrong though.

furmark-1-8-0

And this to clock and adjust your voltage if you need to clock that high.
MSI Afterburner 1.5.0

yeah i use furmark for the benching, and afterburner for the OC. Never really used furmark for stability, GPU tool seems to give me artifacts long before furmark fails on me.

I've heard that FurMark is good for testing temperatures but not stability. Just play some modern games and look for artifacts or other oddities and you should be good. I've also used the Unigine Heaven benchmark, assuming you have a 5xxx series card.

I run a full 24 hours of furmark to make sure that the GPU is stable.

I test my OC by playing a half hour of Crysis at max settings with 24xEDAA/16xAF. I still haven't found a game that will put more stress on both the core and memory sub-systems. It's hard though, as at these settings it's a slideshow. But it'll really stress the card. This is how I learned that 1050 on my core wasn't truly stable. Every other game would play fine, but the computer would freeze under the torture of Crytek's engine.

3dmark Vantage is pretty stressful on the gpu also. If you can stand to watch that bad looking benchmark for that long.
