I just bought a Denon 4810ci receiver and when trying to get HDMI to work from my computer the screen is shifted to the left and up. Now I know about the "OverrideEdidFlags0" reg hack because I had this issue before with just the LG monitor and Nvidia gtx 280 over HDMI. I used Phoenix EDID and did the reg hack and it fixed my screen. Later I purchased a Pioneer VSX-1018 receiver and ended up with the same issue except when I did the "OverrideEdidFlags0" hack I used the EDID of the Pioneer and that fixed the screen. Now I am back to square one except nothing I do fixes the screen. Using the Denon 4810 EDID does not work.
I have used driver sweeper to remove the nvidia display drivers and reinstalled using the latest nvidia drivers as well as the latest beta.
I have tried with and without safe mode.
I have downloaded Moninfo, softMCCS and played around with those except I don't really know what I am doing.
I have downloaded the LG L246W monitor drivers.
I used Moninfo to create and INF file as well as trying to combine the extra extension from the Denon and used that file as an updated monitor/ display driver. Didn't work.
I have tried using the whole hex code from the Denon in the "OverrideEdidFlags0" to no avail.
It obviously has something to do with the Denon and extra info in the EDID or something. It seems to either handle something differently or use more info in the EDID.
Here is info from my Denon in MonInfo. My monitor has a screen ratio of 16:10 and I don't see that in the list. I am not sure if that is part of the issue or not. Anyhow, I'm about to lose it so if anyone can help or knows how to fix this besides launch this monitor out the window feel free. Any help is greatly appreciated.
