Today’s (not so) random [H] sighting is brought to you by the amazingly talented Tavis Highlander. I saw Tavis’ work and had to have him do a rendering of my car. The surprising thing is that it was really, really inexpensive for what you get. Check out his site, maybe you can have Tavis do something for you too.
 
Nice work, I know of a few people that do commission work art like that, though not quite to his caliber.

need bigger rims and slicker tires on the real car and maybe lower is a bit but yeah its about right

Thanks guys, I love the car (had it over 20 years now), now I am going to frame that picture for my office :D

502ci big block chevy (roller cam, lifters, rockers) 572hp / 590tq, custom built 700R4 reverse manual valve body, 12 bolt posi w/ 3:73 gears. Great driver.

Nice looking engine, must have costed "some".

Aint very fan of american cars because they feel like boats, i like cars that is in the 1100kg range, the only heavy car i know of that really acts like its light is the R34.

But Many of the old american cars got a charm!

Nice ride man, ever concidered a low boost turbo ? :) could easly do 650 bhp with virtually no lagg at all, a big block shudnt have issues providing the low rpm tourque ;D

Have you printed the picture out, framed it in and hung it up in the livingroom yet ? ;D

I like how in his self portrait he actually drew the amplification of his eyes by the lenses.
 
That orange car is bad for the environment.. It's a gas hog and spews toxic emissions.. Get rid of it!!!

Heh, you know us better than that. There are never kick backs for anything we do. Ever.

Besides, this is the same as any other "[H]ot deal" we post in the forums, I'm just sharing. Hell, finding someone that can do a rendering like that for what i paid, it'd be a crime not to share with peoiple I claim to like ;)

lol. "Claim" to like? Seems like some awefully careful wording there :p

As for the Camaro, I find myself experiencing an unpleasant sensation.....could it be...Envy? *looks again* Yep, it's envy alright.

Well, you know how it goes. People say they like you but when you ask them where they got that "awesome deal" they act like it is a trade secret..."I can't tell you."

Something like this is only cool if you share it with other people.

Did Tavis say how much time he spent to Photochop that?

I have 0 skillz in photo modding. :(

No biggie - just curious how long a project like that takes for a skilled Photoshopper. :cool:
 
Yea, I'm going to bookmark his site and keep him in mind, I want to get an actual real garage to put her in instead of what I'm doing now - keep her out of the elements, but the damn cats can get on it... GRRRRRRR.... Want a good place for it to sleep before I dump a bunch of money on a custom paint job.
