So for the last few months my computer has been blue screening. I've had to install windows several times. Usually its the kernal inpage error or hard drive error. I've also got the windows system error reporter upon restart and it says it was related to a hard disk drive. I've had the samsung SSD for about 1.5 years now. I havent really lost any of my data, but windows files often get corrupted.

Now the weird thing is that it often happens when i move or touch the computer. This makes me think that it might not be the harddrive, but maybe the harddrive cable? or maybe some static electricity issue?

What sucks is that its in my beloved soy x505 laptop. It needs a 50pin IDE drive which no one except kingspec and samsung make. Also from what i've found the hard drive ribbon cable is like $80. What do you guys think i should do? do not tell me to get a new computer
