I am looking for a good SFF pc case. I want something that will fit big coolers like the TRUE and Mugen 2 etc.

Needs to fit 12+ cards as i have a 260 and plan to upgrade to the new GF300 cards when available.

Any suggestions?

I would wait while the issues with Da Box are resolved and go with that. I don't know of many other SFFs that can hold 12+ and have room for full size coolers. When you get down to it, there are other options available but they become much larger, it is questionable to me what the point becomes.

I saw "Da box" horrible name imho, but it would work. I really like the QV2E case but its not available atm

The Qmicra is a good example. Sorry but that thing has nearly the volume of a mid-tower case, which while they are larger, take up far less room (anywhere) due to the smaller footprint.

Yeah, true.

Whats going in it

DA 800 silverstone 800w psu
Nvidia GTX260 (soon to be the 3xx)
I7 920
Mugen 2
1 x 500gb
1 x 750gb
EVGA Micro X58.

silverstone is coming out with a new sff case this year and that should suit your needs.

You can always try the Qmicra v2. it's pricey but it looks awesome. i currently have Da Box 100. it has its flaws because it's new but im generally ok with it.

I want something in style of the Qpack case, i just don't care for its cheap plastic front, and the lack of sub-par air flow. Also don't like the windows.

So basically something that fits long cards tall coolers, lays flat like the qpack and the other sff cases.

I did consider a HTPC but most of them won't do a big cooler.

I don't think you'd have much other choice other than Da Box. It is a well designed case for sure (I have one, though I am returning it for now and may get another once all the issues are worked out). I can't imagine it being able to get any smaller and still fit everything it does at this point. It has a lot more airflow potential compared to other cases I see.

I would wait for the Silverstone SG07. It is a mini-ITX, but I am waiting for that case to build my LAN-only PC.

ITX won't work.... looks like the only case that really fits what i want is either "da box" of the "QV2E"

The SG01F does but you can't get a big cooler in there.

Other than that you are out of luck. I have the Qmicra 1 which is nice, the QV2 can fit a lot more but is much bigger. The SG05,6,7 cases are much much smaller. Da Box is working out the issues and should be good soon.

Hey, do me a favor guys and fill out the poll below:

It would help with the SG07 development...hopefully.

March-April for the SG07

Why won't ITX work? The new ITX case from SilverStone can fit a 5970 and a full ATX PSU. The only thing that wouldn't fit is probably a TRUE or Mugen.

The only performance difference between P55 and x58 is triple-channel and PCIe scalability, no?

I would rather have a smaller computer and suffer 1-5 FPS in games than a bigger computer. Just my opinion though. :p
