Why can't I find any of these in the US? I've been sending out a bunch of emails I've managed to gather by browsing chinese websites but I haven't gotten any responses so far. Some of these netbooks look pretty sick.

I don't understand why people are in love with the macbook look. I personally don't like it at all.

I understand why people hate Apple for being overpriced and proprietary, but I've never met someone who hates apple because of their product designs. What looks good to you, an eeepc? lol

Also, regardless of design, find me a 13.3" netbook as slim as a macbook air here in the US and I'm game. If not, shut the fuck up and find a thread to contribute in because you sure aren't in this one.
 
is it even touchscreen? specs?

The new ASUS CULV laptops are pretty nice and slim with a very pleasing (to me anyway) design. I think you might be interested in the UL30A. Plus it has quite a decent amount of power.
 
Wait really...
It looks like a Macbook, a Thinkpad, and Vaio P mated and had a kid. Totally unoriginal design.
 
All the notebooks/netbooks you guys are posting are nice, but they are incredibly more expensive than the ones I showed. The macbook style netbook is only $260. Also, none of the ones that have been posted up have 13" screens except for the CULV one.
 
The reason you don't see Chinese knockoff stuff here is because it is illegal to sell or operate electronics in the USA that have not gotten the ok from the FCC.
 
Um. Its a buddy basic Netbook, and the screen looks poorly...

The time cost of finding it - plus the exchange rate and shipping - it probably wont be cheaper than know brands here...
