nvidia news FYI

Put this together with the nVidia job posting thread earlier, and you can't help but go "hmmmm"...

Here's another goofball idea--what if liberalizing x86 license terms has anything to do with executing x86 code on a GPU? Not sure if there's a point to that, emulation usually stinks.

with how buggy their chipsets have been since nforce4 I would be pretty uneasy about an Nvidia cpu.. but who knows..

CPU and GPU are very different animals, and just because you are good with one does not mean that you are good with the other. Intel learned that lesson with Larrabee. I wonder how well nVidia will do with CPU designs.

intel has made gpus though with there onboard chipsets, just not high performance cards.

AMD didn't make GPUs, they just bought ATi

I'd be intrigued to see what nvidia does. Maybe they will buy VIA and do a revamp/faster c3/c7
