Are there really people out there that are such hardcore Gmail users that they need something like this? Has it come to this? Are all of us really that lazy? The thing is only $20 so you know what that means...some of you out there are going to end up with this thing at Christmas.

Yes, because if there's one app that needs some serious speeding up, it's e-mail. Whu?

Interesting, I wonder if you can hack it to change the buttons to different macros. :) $20 is cheap!

My keyboard has over 100 keys, all of which can be programmed to do whatever I want.

aka, this is super lame.

Actually, I love email shortcuts, which makes life a lot snapper (e.g., Lotus Notes). However, the whole idea of shortcuts is that you do not need to move your hands off the keyboard in order to perform an action, i.e. a reduction of movement waste. This product, however, increase the amount of movement needed, since you need to take your hands off the "main" keyboard in order to use it.

In conclusion: I completely agree that this is a horrible idea and a complete waste of $20.

I use Outlook for my Gmail so it would be of little use to me. Honestly wouldn't a better idea be a Facebook shortcut keyboard, I'm assuming that this probably already exists but if it doesn't there's an idea for someone.

I don't know which is a worse idea, this key pad or using outlook for gmail...

Can somebody instead develop a virus that wipes Lotus Notes off a corporate network?
It is the most frustrating piece of junk I have ever had to deal with.
