Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 earphones - $99

Just ordered a pair, this is an amazing deal, and I've been looking for a pair of new headphones. I went with next day shipping just to be safe, and if it's a price error hopefully my order won't be cancelled. Has anyone gotten an order confirmation yet though? I've gotten nothing, and my credit card's been charged.
 
Like I said, these are big... 1"... I mean, that's big for something sitting in your ear.
Just keep it in mind, folks

That won't stop me from buying a few to sell on Ebay though :D
 
In for 1 at logitech. Smoking. Coworker has some superfi's and says those are quite good. He's ordering a set of these to upgrade and another coworker ordered some for his gf for Christmas. 3 sets ordered between us.

OMG, freeking $100+80 for in shell triple fi. It used to cost $1K. I love deflation! this is cheaper than even my silicon mold that I still have to stick the headphones to. Nice find, thanks for posting.

Although the earpiece are big, they mostly stick outside of your ear canal/folds.
 
No order confirmation emails yet. Been about an hour and fifteen minutes.

I received my order confirmation email from logitech almost immediately. My order status is currently "Order In Process" so you may want to try contacting logitech if your status doesn't update.
 
Just got off the phone with them.
They said they had their website hammered with a ton of people ordering the earphones. He said a very small percentage have actually gotten their order confirmations yet, but he said be rest assured if the order was submitted that it'll go through. It's just really delayed.
 
Does the model without the mic still have the "ipod controls"? Volume up/down and pause?

The ones that cost over a grand still cost over a grand. This company is doinga custom mold, but I believe that the end product is quit different from the top of the line UE custom IEMs....but that's just a guess, because I have no desire to spend a grand on IEMs.

Also, don't everybody click all at once but the non-microphone ones are back in stock at Amazon. Or at least my coworker was able to put an order through about 5 minutes ago.
 
I ordered them early this morning and got a confirmation right away, though so far they have yet to ship.

The mic version is back up too...although they both say "In stock on December 19, 2009. Order it now."

Yep, back in stock again.
I wish I would've known that or I would've rather given business to Amazon, seems they can handle the traffic better.

Just ordered. Non-Mic version - which I'd prefer.

I remember dreaming about these a few years ago.
 
AAAARRRGGGHHHH, I certainly wasn't planning to make a headphone purchase today! Got the money, but no job and such. :(

So here comes the non-mic version(I didn't really care about the mic anyway) I mean I've been willing to buy an IEM eventually, but certainly not so soon. Thanks for nothing. :( :p

Well I was looking for a new pair of IEM and after seeing over 800 posts on slickdeals for these things they must be good enough to buy.
 
whoa! I have been looking for good running headphones for a long time now, awesome! I had no idea that I'd drop $100 on headphones when I woke up today :)

I would only use them for running if you're indoors or on a track that's isolated away from traffic. The noise isolation is good enough that you might not be able to hear when something happens. Figured you probably knew, but might as well give you a heads up just in case :)
 
I love my UE Superfi.3 Studio's but had to jump on this killer deal.

Wear them backwards so you don't look like Frankenstein.
 
Too hard to resist. I already have some Shure E530s but need to get them repaired. In for 2.

IDK if they're good for running... They ARE large, as I've said.
Pro: Sound Quality
Con: Size

Shure E530s:
Pro: Size
Con: Sound Quality

Though that's not fair (Sure E530s still sound great, it's just a matter of stepping from "Very Good" to "Exceptional"), those are the basic breakdowns between the two.

I bought the max (3)... Figure after the new year, I could sell these for profit... You know in about a week or two, Ebay will be flooded with $100 folks, thus bringing prices down temporarily.

I anticipate the same issue. Hopefully this won't be like when I got a deal on the XBOX 360 HD-DVD drive and suddenly Blu-ray wins and the drives drop to rock bottom prices.

One problem you may find is that you'll hear every single step you make, unless you crank the music up loud....generally not a good idea with IEMs.

Nevertheless, until I lost them, I liked my IE Super.fi 5 Pros. However, I still think my $60.00 Sennheiser's sound better....much better bass. I'll know in a ocuple of weeks how much better the Triple Fi 10's are.

I'm just glad I got the VI.

As for those that are upset they got the vi instead of the normal headphones, the only difference is the mic. If it really bugs, you spend another 20 bucks and buy a new cable.

Personally, I love that I can use them for hands free calls :D
 
I was hesitant because I wanted the mic version, but I'm glad I got them anyway because I have Shure's with a mic and have never used the mic anyway. Its sweet that you can upgrade the cable to get the mic though.

My three pairs shipped this morning. One pair for me and the others as X-mas gifts.

Can't wait to get these suckers. This is hands down the most amazing deal I've seen on [H].

Everyone who got in on this deal should keep them or not re-sale for less than $300. I got the chance to try out a friend's pair earlier today and they sound magic in your ears.

You have no idea. I got a chance to finally listen to these and the soundstage and instrument separation's phenomenal.

For those of you that missed out on the deal...and cried...like me...

Amazon's now offering them for $149.99 w/ a $50 MIR. They don't come in stock until the 19th and my order said they'd arrive after Dec 25th, so turn around time for the rebate (must be postmarked by 1-7-10) is tight. But it's essentially the same rad deal.

Oh what in the !?!$#, I can't find the deal anymore! I did manage to grab the rebate and rehosted it for you guys.

Hopefully they go back in stock as rebate says purchased between now and 8th (I think).
