Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 earphones - $99

Absolutely smoking. Bought 2 of the vi and 1 of the non-headset ... headphones for the gf, headset for me + a guy I know who has been looking to upgrade :).
 
Was going to post here about it but saw you got here first. Great headphones! I remember trying a pair once a year ago and they were good enough for me to give them a good contemplation before deciding not to buy them; that was when they were giving a 25% off discount. At 75% off it's a must-buy :)

Very impulse purchase haha... I have some Shure SE-310s right now but I paid more for those then I did these...

Just realized I accidently ordered the one with microphone, cancelled it and re-ordered the right one..
 
I've already got a set of custom molded IEM's (that IMO sound better than the Triple.Fi's), but at $99 what the heck!

Microphone version usually retails $20 more. No known difference in sound quality afaik.
 
OMG> I wish I was in the US. As a sound professional I seek the latest and the best of each range, alas, anything like this or lower shits all over Sennheiser's earphone range. But this and a recent Shure deal I've seen, makes me cream myself over the fact that it is only $99.99
 
definitely an impulse buy. $100 down from $400... couldnt resist. these will probably end up being a christmas gift.

Really hot....considering impulse buying them but they look so damn huge.....My super-fi 5 pro's are just about dead after 5 years...
 
In for a pair. My Audio-Technica ATH-EM7 just ain't cuttin' it for the morning commute.
 
It sucks that any of those types of headphones dont fit into my ears. I keep on wanting to buy them but then come to the realization that I would not be able to use them. :(

Crap is there a logitech shop link for the version with the microphone? I could totally use it for my iphone
 
Just so everyone knows, that better sound quality comes at a cost... These are rather large.
 
Anyone else order these from Logitech? It took forever for the confirmation screen to load and I haven't received a confirmation e-mail yet... don't want to order them twice but at the same time I want to get in this deal =( lol
 
The only difference between the regular and microphone version is the cord, and they are replaceable.

You can just order the $20 mic cord if you want, and it'll work with your iphone/blackberry.

Do you have extra small ear canals or something? Have you tried the foamy tips? If you want a custom molded IEM that IMO sounds better than the Triple.Fi's go to www.mylivewires.com. Only $250 for the dual driver model (which I have and has been fantastic for the past 4 years I've had them).


they sell cheap knockoff versions of these on ebay, and i heard they suck.

Asking for a knockoff of any high end audio product is bound to end in disappointment. The refinement just isnt there.
 
Bit. Needed new headphones, and what better way to spend your money while you're out of work.

FYI, this is a one day only sale at Logitech (from what I read on the net at least).

His response isn't unusual. These are big earphones... That's all there is to it. Triple drivers in a big package.

QFT, Audio is one thing you can't really skimp on...
 
I was considering buying some of these and scalping them on Ebay... But it looks like there's already folks selling them for $125 new (shipped) there. Might not be worth the effort.
 
These are amazing deals. I got in at 35% off last year from Ebay, and I though $250 was a great deal, this is a killer deal.

FYI, if you use it on an iphone, you don't need to unplug your headset when a phone call comes in, you just use the phone's mic to talk into, so yes you have to hold your phone to your mouth.

And those Comply tips work real well. And if you have really difficult ears, you can get earmolds that the headphone fits into. It does require you to go to an audiologist for an ear impression and the item sent off for your silicon mold, cost about.. another $125.
