I have the perfect color profile I found online for my HP-LP2475w in vista. I plan on upgrading to win7 soon.

How do I port that color profile over? I believe I ran a profile loading program, that automatically loads when vista starts.

Just copy the profile over to the Win7 install. Win7 has its own gamma loader built in so you won't need third party software to load it.

Ah ok thanks, but how do i copy that exactly ? Where is it located in Vista? Where do I copy it to in Win7?

Thanks!

C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color

is where you want to copy it. Additionally you can use the Windows 7 color management control panel to "install" and set it. The process is identical to Vista. You can set it as "use my settings" as opposed to the default setting in the CMM (color management) control panel.

Hope that helps.

You guys are awesome! I don't know what I would do if I lost "my precious" profile. :):)
