Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic $2.49 @ Steam

Couldn't resist for $2.50, played it when it came out... easy to keep on steam for later.

fun game on pc...will buy just to have for a rainy day. Just want second one now for this price.

This is a classic. Played it awhile back on PC but never paid for it. Been hankering for another go and this was all the impetus I needed to buy it and start.

Played this game 4 times through on my xbox. Loved it and highly recommend it.

I just replayed this about a month ago. Fantastic game.

Its too bad they decided to screw the series and do an MMO instead of KoToR III. :(

Been meaning to play this and the sequel. Grabbed KOTOR this morning since its highly discounted right now.

was KOTOR 2 any good? just curious, played the first one but not the second

I noticed this earlier today on the Steam store. I was unsure if it was worth the $2.50 since I hadnt heard too much about it but if you guys say its good I'm in for one

Rebought it, I have it somewhere on cd but for 2.50 it is easily worth tying it to my steam account and making it very easy to play without discs.

Why doesn't steam have Kotor II the sith lords? I have never played it for I have never found it on stores.

Very very good game, kinda old though (6 years being old now). Peopled raved about the game back in the day.

It was good. The plot and characters were deeper and more interesting, but the game was rushed to be out for Christmas. The ending is rough because a lot of content had to be cut.

It was worth the $50 or whatever I paid for it at the time, but it could have been better.

ever notice how when a star wars game is given the proper time to develop and work out the kinks on, they turn out to be really good? When they just get rushed, they turn out to be good, but not great?

that's annoying

Yep. Force Unleashed seemed to be the later. Had a lot of potential and had some really, really good points but felt like it was shoved out the door a few months too soon.

i agree totally man

I played the demo on PS3 and it seemed like it would have had it all, story, action, but it had some shit that held it back, like the targeting system.

Seriously, you don't need to be able to target a bunch of individual boxes all stacked up on top of each other

you should be able to move them ALL at once, the Force is supposed to be that powerful

instead you're forced to clunk your way while you're getting hit untill you're selecting the right object to move.

what a god damn waste.

I just couldn't get into Kotor 2 the same way I was into the first one. The story was a lot more convoluted and the characters much much less interesting.

Gizka is a gaggle of retards that couldn't complete a bowel movement if they downed a bottle of laxative, so best to just wipe that from your mind.
