Staples has the Logitech illuminated keyboard for $29.99, looks like it's all weekend/until supplies are out.
If you have a keyboard (i assume the general computer-user population does) this isn't a big deal ... i personally almost bought this one for the 'curiosity factor' 2 months ago for $60 but passed; so for 1/2 price, my Curiosity shall be Satisfied :D


the link shows normal/higher price of $60, but is an accurate product description. The news/print ad has it for $29.99. And, conveniently enough, the bottom of the print ad has a '10% OFF' coupon valid in store (Saturday only) on any single item. So the keyboard should be $27 :)

I work at Staples, and yesterday I noticed that we only had 6-7 or so in stock, so I'm not expecting them to last very long at my store.
 
They'll be gone by Saturday. This is similar to the fry's deal a couple weeks ago for the same keyboard, except that had a MIR to bring it to 29.99.

We had 15+ when I checked. I close that day so I'm going to walk in at 5:30 and pick myself up one :D
 
I just picked one up at the store for $30. They had about 6 or 7 in stock and I got the first one. By the time I went to pay, there were 3 left. I asked a manager if I could buy it now, return it on Saturday and then repurchase it on Saturday with the 10% coupon and he said no.

I went to Staples at 6:30 for this Illuminated Keyboard.
None left.
... poor guy in front of me was told "Sorry, all of that item are gone ..." for 5 different items.....
 
Anyone else order one online and not get any confirmation? It's been over an hour now.

Just came back from staples and pick this keyboard up. Store had only 5 in stock maybe, was the first one to grab it and just walked out. The other ones went pretty fast also.

I read on another forum staples online doesnt have real time tracking system and fullfills the orders if they have it. Not sure if this is true or not, but wanted to make I got one in my hands so just went down to my local staples.

Now all I gotta do it return the one I got at fry's last week since that was my backup if I didnt get this one :D

heheh busy day so took the online order-route, for me it said "spend $0.01 more to get Free Shipping" (apparently $30 or above = FS -- even tho the website's banner did say $50) so i added a $3 gel pen (cheapest thing i saw on-clearance :D). Nothing wrong w/shipping to-store, just preferred ship to home.
Plan on stopping by the store Sat. and if any are left, then use the 10% coupon. Figure 2 KB's And a gel pen for $62, not a bad find :p
 
Just got mine from the store. Had 2 there when I went in at 11:00am. This thing is sleek as hell. The nicest looking keyboard I have ever owned no doubt. The keys are certainly different then a normal keyboard, going to take some getting used to.
 
Looks like amazon has this for sale now for $29.99 free shipping... Amazon is really try to compete with everyone it seems.

Might have return the one I just got at staples and save a couple of bucks since no ca tax for me on this deal.

I also ordered through Amazon for the under $30.00 price. Free standard shipping too. And no sales tax (surprising because I have an Amazon warehouse 30 miles away).

I have 2 already, and my parents will appreciate a better keyboard.
 
I just ordered 3 online. Free shipping, but CA tax still applies. Total of $33 for each. Just saw the Amazon deal after I already ordered. :(
 
passed by a Staples earlier today (~1pm) & decided to stop in & check availability. Said they were out, but had about 20 when they opened & said they went quick.

Supposedly ppl were buying multiple (ex: 1 guy had 6 :rolleyes:), so hopefully online stock holds up :)
 
I got mine today after going to 2 stores. The seecond store had about 10 left @11:30 this afternoon. Its sweet, cant wait to see it tonight, probably should have picked up an extra one, oh well. need the $30 for other items.
 
Check eBay soon or the For Sale section soon. I might have some left over. ;)

Its samller flat and thin compared to my saitek eclipse happy with this purchase.
 
I picked one up this morning, and I really really like the keyboard. It's very sleek and it doesn't have the same key texture that my G15 does (that thing picks up gunk like no other for some reason). It's weird to type on, it's like there's nothing there since it's so thin.

When you say not good for gaming do you mean because it doesn't have Macro keys and other such things or simply that the keys (WASD, ESDF etc.) don't feel good / ghost?

I press the keys harder (and prefer longer travel distance). I feel that the Illuminated is too delicate for my gaming use.

Gotcha, I'm considering getting one due to the rave reviews it has combined with this price but since I'm primarily a gamer for my main computer I hope staples has one outside of a box to play with.
