I'm looking at getting a Netgear WNDR3700 and will be using an external 1TB hard drive. Question is, after a period of inactivity will the hard drive spin down? If so, does this router have a configurable timeout to spin-down the drive?
I looked through the USB config settings on mine, and there is no spin down/power down settings configurable. Also took a quick look through the manual, and it does not mention it either.
