I'm new to blackberries, really, and I'm getting the 8330 tomorrow (sprint) and I was wondering if there was an 'app store' for sprints blackberries.

Like, the facebook app, and such.

Also, if someone could point me in the direction of the bold-esque ROM, and other mods for it :)

I too have the 8330 from Sprint and have the Bold theme on mine.
I have the Facebook app, AIM, Google Apps, Google Sync, Google Maps, Gmail, Opera Mini, Twitterberry.

oh, www.crackberry.com is a decent site as well.

The charge cradle is cool to use as well, I have mine in it all the time and just plug the phone into the PC to sync.

that's damn sexy... I can't wait to get my hands on mine tomorrow :)

I'm also contemplating changing the housing on it.. Is there something other than the 8310 housing that fits it?

Stain, yes you can get different housings in various different colors. Here's my 8310 with an 8330 housing with black trackball and ring

Another thumbs up for Appworld. Make sure you upgrade to the 5.0 o/s if it's available for your model.
 
All the blackberries I've had came with a facebook and myspace app. I have the 883 curve currently and had the pearl. The only thing I suggest is that if you want to do anything with this phone, buy the memory card for it or else it will never work properly. Also watch for the hour glass and blank load up screen, when that happens take out the battery and restart it. Every few days hit "alt l g l g" and then clear out the log, That helps the phone to run faster. Good luck!
 
I think I'm on 5.0.. Not sure.. how to tell?

You most likely have desktop manager 5.0 (the program on your desktop PC to manage your BB). 5.0 isnt released with the 8330.
Goto options>>about
and on the third line tells you what os is on your phone..
