BIOS settings for WIN7 Install???

Hello,

I have an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 MB.
The system will have 3 HDs. A Velosity Raptor for OS and programs and 2 1TB WDs in RAID 1 for storage.

Do I set my bios to RAID on the single raptor to install OS? Than create my RAID Array?

What if I choose AHCI? Can I still create the array?

Tried AHCI and installed OS but couldnt set bios to raid to create raid1. system wont reboot.

So is the correct way to set bios to raid and just install win7 on single drive and than back into bios to setup raid using the other 2 drives?

Just wiped out HD with OS out for second try. Any suggestions???
 
Create RAID array before installing OS.
This way, Win7 should install the correct driver.
 
So create array and then choose the single drive for install of OS?
