I am the only user on this thing. it seems to want to deny full access. what ever controls this i wanna turn it off

You need to give us some details to work with. Are you getting an access denied message when trying to access your own documents? How are you accessing them? What type of user is your account?

You do have full access to Windows Explorer. Considering this was an OEM system, I'd blow it away and install it clean and fresh. It sounds like you have something wonky going on with the system.
