Vote now for Gordon Freeman here

He's currently going up against Snake and it's a very close fight.

Go show those console fanboys who's the better game hero! :D

Ryu was easy enough, Freeman set him down 59% to 41%.

Can the Freeman beat out Link to make it to the final show down? It's close again! So far... Vote here.

FREEMAN WINS AGAIN! He beat Link 59.4% to 40.6%. I don't think many expected that to happen.

And now Gordon Freeman is going up against Mario for Gamespot's All-Time Greatest Game Hero. And so far... believe it or not... Freeman is kicking some serious plumber butt. VOTE FOR FREEMAN HERE!

Freeman is the silent protagonist that you're supposed to project yourself on to. A vote for freeman is a vote for you.

I have to say Snake is a better hero than Freeman.

He was actually first based on Mel Gibson from Road Warrior, and Snake Plissken.

I had to do Freeman. He's a nerd, who is able to somehow handle every weapon ever and slaughter billions of aliens while traveling through time. Snake is a VERY close second though, hes such a badass.
 
Freeman have a lot more mystery around him.... thats why i love the character way more than snake.
 
My vote is for Freeman. Snake cries to much about his brother.... "wwwwaaahhh my brother is about to destroy the world again" what a wuss.

How can you vote for a protagonist that doesn't really exist? I mean if you're going to vote for freeman, you may as well vote for the marine dude in Doom (any of them).

If you played the game, then he does exist... you were Gordon Freeman. If you can't understand the unique character immersion valve is attempting to portray in the HL series without the need for dialogue and cutscenes, then you're completely devoid of creative imagination.
 
I gotta say, I voted for snake lol, and I can't believe cloud is losing to kratos.
 
Freeman is a mute retard who only knows how to pull a trigger and solve simple physics puzzles.

Sorry, but that's the truth. You can't really get more badass than Solid Snake... considering all he's been through throughout all the games. Don't get me wrong, I love the Half Life games but to say that Freeman is better in ANY way than Solid Snake is just plain wrong.
