It takes a serious modder to look at his motorcycle and think “I could put a Viper motor in there.” This thing is truly badass and totally street legal. This bike seriously reminds me of the old Dodge Tomahawk concept bike.

Crotch Rocket has a whole different meaning now. And it is street legal!

I wonder how he's got it geared, I know the Dodge Tomahawk had a theoretical top speed of nearly 400 mph.

dumb, you wouldnt be able to lean that into a corner. probably would have pretty shitty lap times around most road courses

Its amazing how normal that bike looks. Its like it could be a real production bike.

VERY well done.

Pretty awesome. I'd love to see him try and pull the throttle a bit. I can cruise that fast on a scooter.. lets see some speed ;)

This.

The concept is somewhat cool but totally impractical. It would be like dropping off your kids at school in a 4 second funny car.

Impractical yes, insane yes... but it's still cool =) I've helped build at least three turbo 'busa's and they put down over 400hp when all said and done... this bike is just as insane ;)

its a show bike. he can barely even ride that thing... and god forbid you tip it over- even with the leathers he was wearing that exhaust is all over his legs:(

it must be geared very high though, you hear it when hes taking off... i would imagine in a normal 1st gear ratio that motor wouldnt even bog at idle.

Yeah, I was looking for him to mash the throttle a bit and see what happens.....

I work on Vipers daily, and you can hardly keep them going in a straight line in 1st and 2nd gear if your on the gas hard......I would imagine that bike would be pretty uncontrollable under hard throttle....

Damn that thing is awesome. I seen similiar where some guy had a Corvette engine on his boat.

very cool to look at but quite worthless as a ridng bike.

i imagine if he even revved it quickly in neutral he wouldn't be able to keep it from falling over. Think of how an engine pulls up one side of a car.

The torque is so huge it looks like it pulls the guy to the side when he first starts it. This reminds me of the guy that was building the harleys with chevy big blocks in them durring the 80s and 90s. Unfortunatly they were crappy because they were so heavy and there was no room for a transmission, just a clutch.

I drove a Triumph Rocket 3 one time and it was way too heavy so I imagine this thing handles like a boat. The Rocket 3 is 2.3L and the one I drove was modded and even at a weight of almost 2000LBS it could pull the front tire off the ground a couple inches in first.

That radiator looks woefully small to deal with a motor that size? Am I right?

Just because someone mods something does not mean it needs to be practical. +1 Fail for all the haters.

It's cool, but I must agree that it seemed quite bad to ride.

Wow. Would this be faster than the Habayusa that won the Maxton Miler (or whatever it's called)? I wonder what this beast on 2 wheels weighs and its quarter mile time.

Lack of proof of performance in the video probably explains its low 2.5/5 star rating on YT.

Most of the people who rate shit on YT aren't even old enough to operate a vehicle that operates on a fossil fuel source.

It's not exactly intented to be a commuter bike  Look at custom choppers -- most of them carry enough gas for about 20 minutes of riding, aren't capable of doing anything but screaming down a (very smooth) highway in a straight line, and have exposed drive belts or fenderless tires half an inch from the riders back making them utterly unsafe and really suitable for nothing but being trailered around to shows. Doesn't mean they're not awesome in their own way :D

Sure, but those prepubescents tend to drool over modified vehicles with big engines.

Here's a link w/ some more info. about the Boss Hoss motorcycle.

I think it is ugly and that it looks even more ungainly to ride. Other then the WTF factor I couldn't see owning one.

Waste of a good engine. Find a poor Plymouth Barracuda and stick it in those. Like this.

First car I owned was a 64 1/2 cuda and after that a 70 challenger that my dad and I dropped a 440 6 pack in. My cuda was stolen while I was in the navy and my dad sold the challenger shortly thereafter :(

Really do miss them 2 cars.

oh man he is inches from burning the crap out himself... i dont think leather will help if he had to stop quick and his leg touched a header

It must be show only bike. You notice his knee is actually resting on the valve cover. He wouldn't be able to do this once this thing warmed up a little.

Quite an achivement, but still it fails to outdo a Suzuki hajabusa :(
Same amount of BHP tho.
Anyways, cool special bike, Prolly only V10 there is!

my hayabusa is about ~210whp after spray and it scares the everliving shit out of me...

i couldn't imagine a 400hp turbo bike!

why make a show bike and not make it look cool? it looks clean and professionally done, but it looks about as exciting as a ride-on lawn mower.

Don't compare it to the dodge tomahawk, that thing looked like it could go 400 mph, this looks like it can't go any faster than it is in the video.
