What desk is that? I'm shopping for a new one and until this one, only the Ikea Galant caught my eye.
 
chineseman its the osullivan desk from staples look it up at staples awesome desk trust me!, i had one!
 
im sorry, i meant it was bush furniture order the catalog from staples and it should be in there cant seem to find the desk either. Just as a warning though its a big desk 72" long.
 
Why don't you guys looking for a desk head to Ikea? Got mine for $85. Desk + 4 legs. I couldn't afford the Galant line, which was priced at $250 so I just bought the alternative.

i got mine at ikea for 50 bucks (30 bucks for the top and 20 bucks for the 4 legs)

Exactly! Google Ikea hacks and you would be surprised what you can do with things bought from Ikea.

It's a goldmine if you are creative. Also be sure to check out the AS-IS isle. I knew someone who found a slightly scratched Galant desk for nearly half the price.

Free shipping and no tax! I'll have to make sure I can fit it in my room but so far it seems a way better deal than the Ikea Galant.

Yeah, it's pretty special. As odd as that may sound talking about a keyboard. It's true, this keyboard is like nothing I've ever typed on.

I know what you mean, I think the keyboard and mouse you use can completely transform your computing experience :) Speaking of which, how do you like the Mamba? I was considering that to replace my G9... either that or the Logitech G500 when it comes out. I love the Death Adder, so the Mamba looks to be extremely similar.

I'll be straight up, the Mamba is the best mouse I've ever used. I had the G9 and other logitechs, but the G9 claw grip hurt my wrists. I don't think I ever plan on using another mouse. It's light for my smaller hands, holds it's charge for a long time, and the feel is awesome. I do find it kinda priced steeply, but it was worth it. Just get it at best buy and if you don't like it, take advantage of their return policy.

Thank you! I used to work for an Audio/Video place that taught me a few things.

I'm house shopping as well, hoping to be mounting a few things soon myself. Looking forward to some pics of your setup once you've got it done.
 
For those discussing the Bush Series C desk -- my desk is out of that set. I highly recommend it -- very good for the price, and a heck of a lot of modules.

I remember seeing the build log for this entire set up and it is such a great looking work/play area that you have :eek::eek:, though how far away is your head from the ceiling because I can't imagine you have a lot of height in the sloped areas.
 
Thanks! The height above my head when I'm at my desk is about 42" or so--pretty high. I am 6'4", and I don't feel like the world is crashing in on me. Clearly I cannot stand up in the whole room--but having the vaulted ceiling helps tremendously with the illusion of drama and space.

BTW I got my third Samsung T260 monitor broken during my relocation, my new T260 is on the way, next week..

Is it just me or does yogaxl pci look like cgi or something? It looks like a nice setup but it just looks so perfect or something.
