no number change as I replaced my older 8800GTS 640mb with a GTX260 and also replaced an 8800GT 256mb that I won here with an 8800GT 512mb card..soooo ...

After all this time.... we might hit 0....

(I do think that there have been many swaps on GPUs and the like and that this is probably not a real number, but it does mean that we have 500 GPUs added over this time)

Actually, since the post before said 14, and his post added 6 GPUs, it should have been 8 instead of 10. So the current number is really 4.
 
Well, I guess I can go ahead and add my cards to this thread as well. I currently have 7 GTX260's, 1 GTX275 and 2 8800GT's running in my boxen, so that should bring the figure down to:

EDIT: okay, he did.

I'll just have to hunt down a dual slot motherboard, as I'm probably going to ditch the 8500gt for any sort of useful function.
 
I imagine most of those 500 are still folding. I made first page a while back, and I'm starting to fall in the ranks. A lot of people are doing 20-40k per day and passing me within months. Just waiting for my Fermi. I've seen estimated PPD and I'm pretty excited about it. Hopefully I can afford two of 'em.

Added my 8800gt from monday - Now its my 8800GTX with a lot MOAR to come over the next 12 months:D
