ah crap, marc and i will have to change our tunnel then. IIRC, that is what we were using.

Don't worry, I'll fix it. I put a spreadsheet online so this won't be an issue in the future.

Spreadsheet has been updated. Please look at it before picking a subnet. We might just make the assignments up front so this is easier.

Edit: I just made the assignments, look at the spreadsheet to get your subnets. Let me know if I forgot anyone or screwed up the numbering.

do we have to have a cisco device at the edge? i have a juniper netscreen device, not sure if it will be compatible though... very interested if it is though! plus, i'm over in the uk, would be good to go worldwide! ;)

i'm using a 5gt adsl, running screenos 5.4.0r13. yes, i believe it supports bgp. if i enter the configuration for the trust-vr i have the option to create a bgp instance. if i delve further there are scores of further options to choose from. i haven't done anything with bgp, however, so configuring it and getting it working could be a challenge... but i'm well up for it!

GRE isn't supported, you need this for routing protocol support over ipsec.

Whos AS 6655?

I am going to order me a Cisco 2621 this week, just wondering what diffrent between this

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Cisco-2621XM-128...ters?hash=item23025c1d41&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

and this:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Cisco-2600-Serie...ters?hash=item230250dfe9&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

beside XM and larger amount of ramz and Flash.
Is it worth going for the more expensive one? or saving a few bucks?
I do plan on replacing my PFsense firewall with this if it all works out.

(I should have not slept thought my cisco classes)

The XM is better, it has FE interfaces instead of E, it can run newer IOS, etc, etc.

Is it possible to use a 1760 to do this? (I was given one randomly the other day and have barely even turned it on)

Justina and justin, problem solved LOL
Don't be getting hostile with me, Lenny.

Depends -- how much flash does it have? Can you paste a " sh ver"?

nope because they are 2 of them, they loose there name... guy 1 and guy 2
No, I'll tell you how it works. My BGP peers came up first, so I get to keep my name :D

google cisco feature navigator.. find an image that your router can run w/ ipsec, bgp and gre.

Seeing as both of my networks are edge'd by pfsense, I has to wait.. I may run alpha here until I can pick-up a 2621 or the likes.

Nice, I'm in! I'll have to dig up an IOS that supports IPSec\BGP\GRE and throw it on one of my routers this weekend though. I think I can cram one that supports it on the little 1760 that's laying around here.

Oh, and I'll see if I can get a couple people at work in on this too.

Just setup pfSense alpha and installed the openbgpd service. Hopefully I can get it setup with you guys soon

As my routers are already 1.3rc-1 (alpha) I will wait to here results (or get involved already) if this works.

My network is edged by pfsense too, but I'm going to put my 2620 out on the edge too on my WAN vlan and then route accordingly.

just realized that I'll need to upgrade the flash on my 871w to be able to load the advanced IP services IOS image, advanced security image doesn't have BGP :(
