Finally got my 30" W3000H-BN

I know it says: Original Price: $1,259.99
You Save: $100.00
$1,159.99

At least it is below MSRP lol. I think I bought my W3000H from Newegg for $1,099. Newegg keep's selling out of the monitor so they probably thought they could squeeze a bit more profit out of them.

I got mine as well this week, and I have to say it has exceeded all of my expectations. It's cheap compared to other 30" monitors and mine is basically flawless. No backlight bleed, no dead pixels, no white glow, no sparkling effect. The only downside is that the PQ is not up to par with my plasma TV when watching videos, but I already knew that before I bought it, and I didn't buy it to watch videos.

All in all its a pleasant surprise, I expected more flaws to be honoust. Maybe it is because it is a new model and LG has ironed out all of the flaws; it rolled out of the factory into my home, I dont know. It's build this month in Poland.

How is the default color accuracy on this monitor?
I will mainly use it for browsing / general computer (wanted to use my 50" plasma for movies and games)

I don't really feel llike buying an expensive calibrator and I have no clue where I could borrow one...

Also, since it has no OSD, I wonder if I could still adjust basic settings, like brightness and contrast, via buttons?

And finally: is the stand adjustable in height?

It is fully adjustable, the color is pretty accurate. My soyo mva seems to be a tad more vibrant though, but i havent bothered to actually try to adjust the dell.

I would love to find a 26" or 30" glossy monitor. The only thing I dont like about the Dell 3007WFP-HC is the coating on the screen which I can see especially when a movie is moving behind it.

Agree.
I would love a 30'' glossy monitor too. :(

Yeah, I brought a thread up from the dead, but I have good reason: I'm interested in this monitor, and I'm reading to see if It's worth the money.

I have a question to the owners: can the monitor be driven at 2560x1600@50hz?

50Hz? I think only once I tried it at that using Powerstrip or something, but I don't remember...
