There is good news about the bug found in the recently released Firefox 3.5.1, according to Mozilla, the flaw isn’t exploitable. Let’s hope the fix for 3.5.1 doesn’t have a bug in it too. :(

On Friday, reports began to emerge of a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Firefox 3.5.1 that could be used to gain access to a computer or launch a distributed denial of service attack. But after examining the reported vulnerability, Mozilla said that's not the case.

Nothing new there. Coding its a tad unreasonable to expect it to be an exact science. There's a reason there are no widely available, independent browsers for sale.

There's always bugs. At least occasionally fixing something tends to make other things broken. :p
