yeah, thats a mac pro 8 core with 16gigs of ram

the laptop is a macbook pro 17"uni

the other is a gateway with dual dell screens, one 30" and another 24"

i need the space just to feel better when working. When you spend
a lot of hours in front of the computer ANYTHING to make it a pleasant experience
counts.

I like your mouse choice, loved my G7... only recently replaced it with a Mamba.

Wired sucks, we can all agree on that. Also, what if the Mamba's battery doesn't last for an entire day? You'll have to plug it in.

I much prefer the Logitech G7, which comes with 2 batteries. One stays in the mouse, while the other one charges in the wireless receiver. When the mouse battery dies, you just switch it for the one charged in the receiver. Brilliant.

New set-up with:

- Hazro HZ24Wi
- Lian-Li PC-V1000 (i7 build)
- Ikea Galant desk
- Anglepoise lamp (Type 75)
- Bisley drawer unit

Need to go completely wireless next!!

Here is my room full of LCD's, a projector, and my laptops (the tiny dell one is my work lappy). The cabling sucks but I still need a day off to fix it all up.

My Setup:
Main monitor: 3008wfp
Projector: Epson Home Cinema 1080p
Laptops:
XPS 1730 with 8800m GTX SLI 4GB ram, 160 and 500GB hard drives

I charge my mamba overnight every night and the only times I've ever had it run out while using it is if I forgot to charge it for more then 2 daysovernight...making it temporarily wired is easy (it's a USB cable) and I've never had to use it more then an hour or so wired before I was done for the day and just put it on the charger again. :) The 2 times I've had to cable it in the 2 months I've owned it is far less then the battery swapping I was doing for my G7.... I was originally hesitant about the Mamba because of the battery, but I've been pleasantly surprised that its a non-issue.

... is there other seating that is hidden or do you have a projector just for you and no company?

You need a universal remote. :) hehe

I do need a universal remote as you can tell from all the remotes I have. I do a fair share of working from home myself so having a nice space can help.

Well funny story. I used to have this projector celing mounted in a basement just for watching movies and playing games. Right now I had to move into a smaller place and this is the only room in the house that I can control the sunlight in. So for now it's just for me and another person to either play the consoles or to watch a movie. It won't be a permanent resting place ;)

There should be like a Computer/Gaming setup Designer cause i am awful at setting things up nicely.

While AV snobs knock it, I have to say I've like my Harmony One...it can't do the most complex macros, but it was easy to program, has a nice layout and is easy to use...

What's the giant grey cables going into the thingie on top of your AV receiver?

Why have the printer right next to you, don't you find it getting in the way of your mousing arm all the time? I would put it right on one of the ends of the desk.

That's a nice paint job, looks like it would have been difficult to get that white line so perfect. I'm thinking of painting my room red need to make this room a more manly and kick out the wife.

24 inch Dell with 2 17 inch Samsungs and a 19 inch LG. It all works very well together. I've always had dual monitors in the past, with CRT's. Got the Samsungs in 2005, added the LG last year, and just got the Dell last week. Now I need a better video card for the 24, 8800GT is showing its age in games.
