Intel Retailedge 2008 (2 purchase programs this year?)

they said 2-3 weeks till the ship... from the forums there some people said the last deal some of them got the items before they got a tracking number
 
i meant until stock runs out?
hopefully its still there until sat.!

If you look through the forums on the retail edge site, there is a thread about the stepping, and in it a rep does state that they are all DO chips.

Funny thing about that, my verification took it's time getting in, I had a few snags. I called Intel, to find out if and when it showed up, would I still be able to participate, and the rep told me that the Big Deal ended on the 22nd. I felt defeated, and went ahead and started ordering AMD build instead, thinking I couldn't get in on the Deal this time around.

Sure enough, the very next day, I get an email that I was verified, but it was now the 25th, so I didn't think it mattered any way. I figured what the hell, got online to check it out, and was able to order any way. Had to cancel and send back some AMD gear, which makes me a little sad, because that Crossfire III board sure was sexy lol

Just for the record, Intel reps are not reliable sources of information.

When I use to work at BB, I had great relationship with the two Intel reps there but both always had incorrect info. IE: Back when the program offered Q6600 and Q6700, both reps said it would be QX6850's.

Although, chances are very high of chips being D0 since all newer chips these days are D0.
 
hmmm is anyone else not able to get into there site? i always like checking there forum to see if anyone has tracking info yet... i ordered mine 2 days after the start

Yes you can use a CC with another individuals name on it, also you can ship to a different address, they ask you your shipping information before you finalize the order.

i ordered the 19th and haven't got mine yet... they said 2-3weeks from purchase before it was even shipped
 
A lot of people who ordered on the 17th still haven't gotten theirs, including me. I haven't even gotten a tracking number yet.

I haven't gotten a tracking number yet, even though I received the bundle today. I expect it tomorrow, as it has been every time I've purchased the big bundle in the past.
 
I just got my tracking number (via order lookup as reference number at fedex) and it shipped today and should be here tomorrow. My order number was 180XX so those with numbers near mine should have just shipped or will be shipping soon. Also the Intel site is currently updating for this month and I can't currently login.
 
Lol. Still no tracking number. Hehe. Silly Intel. I got my bundle on Wednesday!

so all you put under reference number was your order number?
