Looking for someone in NYC with i7 rig to help me diagnose my parts

I just build a new i7 rig and it worked perfect for about 2 weeks and now its dead. I am pretty sure it is the motherboard and PSU, but don't have spare parts to test it for sure. None of my friends have powerful computer. Is there anyone in NYC who would let me test my CPU and PSU in your system? I know its a long shot, but I am sure there are fellow NYC [H] members who are willing to help me out. I will pay in beer


Pleeeaaaseee help me I only have 2 weeks to get all of my parts back from RMA so I need to know what to RMA ASAP!!!

whats happening with the system when you go to boot? does anything power on at all when you hit the power button?

EVGA X58 SLI
i7 920 D0 stepping
3x2GB OCZ Plat
Sapphire HD4890
Antec CP-850 PSU
WD 640GB HDD

After talking to EVGA and trying a few things im 99% positive i need to replace my mobo and my PSU. However, I need to make sure everything else works fine so I can RMA everything at the same time.

is there really no one in NYC who is willing to help?

Yeah dude like anyone wants to meet up with some random stranger and let him install his computer parts in their computer, nobody knows if you've fallen on hard times or not or won't do something stupid. I understand you feel you have been a poster here for over 5 years and an element of trust is there, but you shouldn't act so surprised that a line wouldn't be forming to accommodate you.

LOL coming from someone that has been registered on the board for 9 days...
