A Story of BFG's Customer Service

Also really hope BFG will have motherboard back. Looking for a X58 MB now, still can't choose one.
Asus = poor customer support
EVGA = NB fan is noisy, the LE edition fits but only 2 yrs warranty.
XFX = hard to find in Canada
=(

I have always purchased BFG, never has one of their cards given me an issue.....goes back to Ti4600.

I recently used the Trade-up which was seamless.

BFG customer service has always treated me as if I was important.:D

If you want quiet, buy the Classified.

Classified is good but I dun game much also it is too expansive :(

Haven't heard anything back from you Jeff.
Any idea whats going to happen?

Sorry for the delay. The RMAs were created this afternoon and should ship out tomorrow. The proper upgrade for that card is to the BFG 9800 GTX+ 1GB, so that's what I'll be sending. Let me know if you need anything else.

First Thanks for your help Jeff!

The 2 9800GTX OC 1gb cards came today.
I was a bit surprised to see that they are shorter then the 512mb 9800GTX OC and only have 1 6-pin power connector. But GPU-z and ATI Tool confirm that they are infact 9800GTX OC with 1024mbs of memory.

But I am now running into a problem, I can't turn SLI on in nVidia control panel. Every time I select "Enable SLI" and click Apply, the screen flickers and it defaults back to "Do not use SLI". I don't know what could be causing this. I put the card bridge connector on one goldfinger pair and then the other pair and the same thing hapens again. I can turn Phyx on no problem, but can enable SLI. According to GPU-z, the cards are identical and SLI is available... I just can't turn it on for some reason.
I am running the 186.18 drivers from nVidia's site.
Anyone know what I might be missing here?

Would you be able to test them individually? I have found in the past that if one card has an issue things like this will happen. I really hope that one of them isn't faulty, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

I did a restart again and this time everything worked out. SLI is working perfectly!
Jeff, I love that you got back to me so Quickly :) Thanks again for all your help!

So once again for everyone tuning in... After my cards died, I RMAed them and BFG has now replaced my 2 8800GTX 768mb OC cards with 9800GTX 1024mb OC+ cards.

Thanks again Jeff and Thanks BFG. You guys are awesome!

I have had to deal with BFG's rma service a few times in the past and each time they far surpassed the service of what I would have expected from a large name company. If I go back to an nvidia card I will never buy from any company other than BFG. They are definitely top notch.

My new 285 GTX is artifacting... 2 days old :( I got a quick answer, hope the rest goes this well
