Battle of the Budget Cases

Wow. Cooler Master has got to be mad. As a guy who has been looking at the Cooler Master 690 since I don't want to spend on a nice AL case, Xigmatek looks immediately recognizable.

It's black on the inside, I may just have to consider it. Upsets me that I could deign to support such a blatant ripoff but it does look nice...

They probably sell the chassis to Xigmatek and then they go and resell it with their own tweaks.

I hate the front of the Nzxt and the Antec front is fugly as well. Between the 3 I'd take the Xigmatek.

weirdly enough i think the NZXT looks best out of those 3, the front is definitely the best looking of those. Also, is there news on pricing?

The NZXT is $50 before shipping and handling.
Xigamatek is $75 before shipping.
The Antec 200 is approximately $60 but I'm not entirely sure about that one.

Basically each case has a price that matches their advanced feature sets over the other cheaper cases but compared to anything above $100 they are a great bargain.

The only thing most people should be concerned about is the durability of the material. My main concern is the cooling once I install some noctuas into them and whether or not I can remove their hard drives bays to improve intake airflow.

NZXT is the cheapest it wins.

Xigamatek looks to be worth the extra 15 bucks (and it is shockingly similar to CM690).

Antec 200 fails on ugly front (the market is leading away from that look or at least it should be)

I like the Xigmatek (probably because it's basically the same as the CM 590/690 which I also really like). The Antec 200 looks alright, but the NZXT just looks like a cheap piece of crap.

i would personally get the xigmatech over the 690, I like the black painted interior and the orange accents.

where are yo guy finding the xigamatek for sale? i'm on the verge of building a new machine, and that looks perfect for what i want.

The xigmatek just looks like a rebrand of the cm690, with some changes. and I like these changes. I wonder if it'll come with a windowed version?

I think the xigmatek looks pretty nice. my only complaint are the fan cutouts on the side panel, imo, that adds a tacky look since they are just honey-comb cutouts. other than that, for the price i think it's looking pretty good.

The Xigamatek does look nice, but it could use some more cable management holes on the mobo tray.

I like the little extra's on the 200, they added a few things that the 300 was missing, but man the front is super ugly lol. I'd rather buy the 300 again and just mod it lol. I have to say I wish the 300 had side mount HDD's, but then it would take away from the super clean cable management that comes with that design.
