EVGA GTX 260 - $125 AR @ ZZF

Ah... the older 192 GTX 260 and with only 2 year warranty.

Well still a good deal for $125. I guess...

hmmm..this looks like a good deal. Would this be better to have or should I pick up another 8800GTX on ebay to have SLI going on?

hmmm..i guess what i am asking, are they even close in performance?

8800gtx sli would squash the 260

Isn't it only a 2 year warranty until you register it then it switches to lifetime?

The zzf site says 1 yr parts and 1 yr labor if you register within 30 days. Somewhat odd.

Im sooo glad my 8800GTS 512 has held up for me. These prices are making me drool.

Bought my 260 for $330 last July. :(

Jfc, that is the last time I buy video cards that soon after launch.

The hardcore enthusiast doesn't really care about the price except other than buying the most you can afford. However, a safe method is buy games that are a year old and then buy appropriate hardware (crysis excluded). I get the same level of enjoyment...at a 50%+ cost reduction.

This is a really good deal....really good.

I do not need to get into this deal... I DO NOT NEED TO GET INTO THIS DEAL!!!

AHHHHHH... that felt good! :)

Price minus coupon = price I paid after rebate just a few months ago.

Damn tempting to see what these will do in SLI :D
(hmmm, glad my PS has 4 PCI-e plugs. that's a lot of power!)

This model only has 1+1 year warranty if you register. EVGA started offering different warranties with mid range, but appears recent to 260 GTX. So no lifetime is available for this product (TR).

Lifetime:The EVGA limited lifetime warranty is only eligible for part numbers ending in:
-A1, -A2, -A3, -A4, -AR, -AX, -CR, -CX, -DX, -FR, -FX, -SG, -SX.
1+2:EVGA 1 + 2 limited warranty only eligible for part numbers ending in:
-K1, -KR.
1+1:EVGA 1 + 1 limited warranty only eligible for part numbers ending in:
-LA, -LE, -LR, -LX, -T1, -TR, -TX.

I key eyeballing this deal too, but my 9600GT runs everything i play great @ 1680x1050, but im such an addict to upgrading that once I get something on my mind its hard to stop....
argh.....

125....thats practically nothing!......

must....get......help.

I just bought the dell delay deal I should of delayed on buying something from dell longer because then I could have this.

coupon isnt working for me, any ideas?

EDIT: freakin cut and paste should not inlcude SPACES!!! it works....now

bah, i couldnt resist. I'm still running an 7800GTO i believe, lol. i used the ebillme thing to get another $30 off.

EBillMe isn't a credit line, it's more akin to a business-only Paypal that doesn't suck. You have to pay directly through online banking methods though IIRC.

+1 and it was a breeze to use. why not use it? $95.00 shipped is gonna be nice for this card. now i dont have to worry about my system sucking arse when diablo 3 comes out.

It would be a lot more heat and power!

yeah, definitely, and I am trying to figure if i should get a bigger case as its quite stuffy in there now. I am glad my 8800GTX is doing just fine, but it sure does blow whenever i started Far Cry 2 today, but I HAVE to be able to play Mass Effect 2 in all its full glory (o I can't wait).

man, for this price and the prices being sold on ebay for 8800 GTX, its not too big of a difference. Its like the 8800 series just won't Die already..lol...i am so trigger happy with electronics...ooo the pain...

good deal , must not buy

Mine arrived yesterday with a bonus....EVGA is now giving away a copy of Crazy Machines 2 as well as Cryostasis with their cards....

$169.99 - $25 rebate - Coupon ZZFTW659 = $125 after rebate (before taxes). Free shipping.

Well it's taken 7 or 8 months, but the price has finally fallen below to what I paid for my 260 last fall (AR, Ebay Cashback and MS's 25 or 30% cash back).

I must say it's a decent card and pretty quiet too.

The only bad thing is it's incredibly long. Nvidia needs to shrink their cards an inch or 2.
