$10 Sims 3 Cash Card for $5 at Best Buy

Saw this on Slickdeals since I was interested in Sims 3.

Okay, so this card lets you buy whatever you want on eastore.com. Includes EA games and Sims items, etc. So I'm gonna buy Sims 3 with 5 or so of these cards. $25 for Sims 3 haha. :) Just gotta wait till after work so I can pick these cards up and download Sims 3 off EA store tonight.
 
Game comes with a 10 dollar card.

The card ONLY lets you buy stuff for use in the Sims 2/3. They are not EAStore gift cards.
 
Well, I dont know man. But people are using these cards to get credit on their ea accounts to buy anything off the eastore.
 
Well, taking a look at the card the OP linked to shows a Sims 3 card that says "..to download PC Games or In-Game items", so it looks legit. Unfortunately, I think we're late to the party as the Slickdeals folks were buying loads of them. All the B&Ms around here are sold out from the looks of it.
 
A lot of people are getting rainchecks on these cards at the best buy stores. Some saying a stores get new shipments in on Friday. You can use it on preordering future EA games as well it seems.
 
So wait.. do these cards work to buy games? aka I could buy 5 of these cards for $25 and buy the sims 3 game with a $50 credit?

That's what I said. lol. and any other EA game. Including new ones that haven't come out yet(preorders).
 
Woohoo! Got Sims 3 for $25. However, one of my cards didn't work for redemption. I think the guy at Best Buy didn't activate my card :( Gotta go back there sometime and activate my last card.

I knew I wanted my wife to wait... but NO, she just had to buy SIMS 3 on release day. :p

Now I'll give her crap that we could have gotten it for 1/2 price.

Thanks OP. Gonna stop in locally after work and see what I find.
 
wow they got good shipping... i mean i ordered it yesterday and they didn't ship it until today and it was already at my door..

I just picked up that last one at the Burbank BB. The website says you can't pick them up but they seem to still be in stock. I'm not driving all over town to check though lol.
