As the title says I'm looking for a new case for my i7 build. I will be gettng a standard atx mobo with a gts250. I have three HDDs and two rom drives.

With that said I would like a roughly $100 case. No more and preferably less.

I currently have a CM centurion 5 case which I am in love with so something similar would be nice. I would also like a side viewing panel.

whats wrong with reusing the centurion? captain planet says recycle!

$100+shipping - Antec Nine Hundred

$80+shipping AR - Silverstone TJ04B-W

there are a few good ones. you can always just go to newegg and go to cases and put in your price range and scan through by rating and see if theres anything that looks good to you. dont go solely off their ratings though, as newegg users are notoriously stupid. :) those suggestions were all in the first couple pages of doing that exact thing though. also, i highly recommend the nine hundred since its a fantastic case, and you can bundle it with an antec power supply if you dont have one yet. thatll save you $20-30ish bucks. antec is one of the only case makers that makes some good power supplies too. if you do end up doing that, ask about which psu to bundle over on the power supplies forum. theyll know what to do. my friend bought this combo just the other day on my recommendation and is very happy with it. of course i think there was free shipping on the case too at that time so that helped. good luck!

LOL well mine is three years old so I was thinking with dust build up and since I'm hoping this case lasts another three years I should get another. But thanks for your suggestions ekeust

unless you need another case (keeping current stuff in that current case), why not just clean it?

grab a vacuum or air-in-a-can, some iso alocohol for the grimes... good to go

agreed. if you like the centurion and it isnt functionally deficient, keep it. its a tried and true case. just give it a good cleaning and save yourself $100.

gut it and take it to your nearest car wash and let rip with a pressure washer,
paint the inside a new color like black or red, put in some LED fans and you
will have a newer, cooler looking pc but still an old favorite!

Sorry...have been away for a few days and I just got back, but thank you for all of your suggestions.

While I would like to keep my current one, with the mesh in the front of the case dust really builds up and while I like to a lot, the the dust in the mesh lining makes it really unattractive for me.

However, I really like the Silverstone since the front isnt mesh..

Some of the reviews on newegg say that their video card did not fit easily. I currently have a xfx GTS250 which is very long and rests close to my hdds in this case. Can anyone say one way or another whether they have had a problem with a long video card?

Use a vacuum with a brush head to clean it. That is what I do on my Lian Li V2000. Save your cash, and vacuum it once and a while. Getting a new case just because of dust is very wasteful.

Hopefully you can get this case for $100 now over the pond, I dont know where to check prices for you.
