CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX TX 750W Power Supply - $80 after rebate

well i bought a fully modular 1.2kW silverstone psu the other day for $200 :D

yes this is a very good and very reliable PSU!
cant really go wrong with a Corsair PSU! and such high power!
but what i see in ur sig... u dont really need such high power
but this is a hot deal after all so ya check out more reviews on it
and u will be amazed by this PSU

Man, i really need to change my sig...i'm running a CD2 e6600 @~3.2, 3hdd, Geforce 8600, couple fans and optical drives. Though im in the market for a gtx295 right now...so i think i need a new PSU...

well even if u r gonna use the GTX295
the TX750 will still be more than enough
i think when it is peak load on 3D... it uses 214W for the GTX295
IIRC from some reviews
so cant go wrong with this PSU!
( please correct me if i m wrong )

So change it...It might take a whole 45 seconds..:p

Nice price, I picked up this PSU for my last build a few months ago and could not be happier.

DAMNIT!!!! I just got this for $100 a week ago at the egg. Oh well. Great PSU, im using one in my fileserver.

TDP on the 295 is supposedly 283w, according to Wikipedia, not that I necessarily think that's 100% true. But 214w -> 283w seems a bit too much to call it "normal" usage vs. absolute max (besides TDP isn't normally absolute max anyway).

Either way, with Bugster's current rig specs and upgrading from an 8600 to a 295, a 750TX shouldn't even break a sweat. I like mine, got it about a year ago for $100 AR. Quiet (for my load), reliable, good [5 year] warranty backed up with kick ass CS/helpful reps (some post here).

If anyone is hesitating on getting this it is a great PSU. Handles my overclocked q6600, gtx280 sc, several drives, and watercooling without a hitch. Love it, and the PSU has enough connectors for another gtx280. Awesome, awesome psu. Edit: Didn't realize this was an old old deal with all the action it's getting today. Ooops.
