Hello -
I have a sapphire 4870x2, and I recently got a DVI-> HDMI cable so I could have my computer hooked up to my TV via HDMI and my monitor at the same time (the are in close rooms so I just needed a long cable).
Once I plugged in the DVI->HDMI cable into DVI out 2 on my card - everything was perfect, I could see the display on my monitor and it was being cloned to my TV via the ATI control panel, and it all worked as expected.
I ended up moving my computer around and then re-plugged in my TV into DVI out 2 (the one on the right), and forgot to plug in my monitor to DVi out 1, but it all booted up fine, and I could see everything on the TV.
Once I plugged my monitor back into the card into DVI out 1 (on the left), my monitor wouldn't come on. And now, even after the computer has started, only the DVI output 2 sends a signal, so I have to only have 1 thing connected at a time.
Can anyone help me figure out what I did to disable the dvi out 1? Thanks for any help!
