What's your current mp3 player?

Sansa View 32gb. Used to have an e260 (6gb + 1gb MicroSD) and honestly I liked the reliability of the e260 better. The View has worse battery life, but is supposed to have more, also has locked up on me a few times. But I do like the bigger screen. I bought it because I needed a higher capacity.

The one I leave in the car: Sansa e280 + 8GB microSD (16GB total) and RockBox installed
The one I use at home/trips: Samsung YP-P2 <3 the 480x320 touch screen and BT

I might buy the 8GB version of the YP-P2 when it goes on clearance if I don't find an iPod Touch 2G cheap.

LG Chocolate (2). Lol. I never bothered to get one once I got a phone that played music for me. (Less is more ;))

Zune 30 and a Rockboxed Sansa e280. My first MP3 player was an Archos Jukebox 20 so I've been using Rockbox for quite some time now... simply awesome.

60 gig iPod video. Got it for free and it replaced my old 3rd generation 15 gig iPod.

8gb Zune

Side question: Is the play count supposed to go up from plays off the player when I sync? It updates zune social when I play on the computer but not the player.
Whats the story?

I use a 16GB iPod Touch. Owned it for around 18 months now, and so far I'm very pleased with the performance. I am indifferent to it at this point. I originally purchased it because I could surf the internet with it, but now, I pretty much use my laptop for that. When the Applecare runs out in around 6 months, I'll probably buy something else, but for now, it works OK. I wish it had hardware volume and playback controls, though

iPod Nano 3rd gen

In my opinion, the iPod and the Zune are the only ones worth owning.

16GB Zune + 8GB USB key plugged into my car stereo head unit...Clarion FTW!

It should... I don't know if there's a setting you have to change, using the PC software, while the Zune is connected, but mine updates the play count just fine.

Sansa clip 2gb and I don't listen to mp3s because its .ogg compatible. Sounds excellent. I am a firm believer that an AUDIO player needs to sound good, no just look good and fart....lol fukin iTurd!!!

I have an iPod 80 gig classic. The only reason I went ipod is because it directly interfaces with the Pioneer head units in both my wagon and my Scion. I never use it as a portable mp3 player though, it just lives in one of the cars.

I went from the Creative Zen 20gb to the Ipod 4th Gen 20gb. Now I have the Sansa e260 (4gb + 8gb MiniSD card = 12gb :D) and I love it. For $64.99, it beats the ipod on all counts. Yeah, I said it fan boys...

Currently use the 16GB iTouch (mainly as a remote for my Sonos system) and a 80GB iPod Classic. Previous mp3 players include Zen V Plus and Zen Mosaic.

I miss my old creative zen vision.. that was the talk of the town.. and I miss my creative nomad.. first 20 gb mp3 player.. i loved that thing

30GB Zune black version. I bought it for $90 from some guy on CheagAssGamer.com. I went form an iPod freak to this. Might never go back. I play my Zune through my Xbox 360 via zune synch cable in my bedroom and my Pioneer receiver via my zune video/audio dock (older round version) in the livingroom. Had it for a year and a half now and still amazed by it.

I been looking for something smaller for working out and something with more storage. 120GB Zune version is what I have been looking at as my next mp3 player.

Just grabbed a recertified Sansa Fuze from Newegg with a 8GB SDHC card. 12GB for $60 or so. Plays video, but I haven't heard good things about video playback. I mostly listen to Podcasts.

1st Gen iPod Nano (got it for jogging, and with no moving parts I don't have to worry about the constant bouncing)

I got the 120 off the egg for a deal with the av kit for 180 around x-mas - I love this thing - and I kind of actually like zune pass all the music I want for the price of a cd - Clone dvd mobile even has a zune profile to rip and encode movies directly to my shared space so if I travel I just rip a few movies sync up and go. I have my entire cd collection on it - a ton of movies and still some space. Only thing I don't like is if I want to hook it up to my av in my suv I need a MS certified kit and they are expensive.

I finally got myself a good phone, the 16gb iPhone that doubles as my PMP. My second choice would be a Cowon S9.

Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB, the no-internal-speaker version. Tiny, easy to use, easily-readable OLED screen. FM radio, also stopwatch and voice memos and other stuff I'll never use. Shows up as any ol' USB drive; I wrote my own program to load it with music the way I want it.

Sony Walkman 16gb. It'd be perfect if Sony didn't have its head up its butt in drm.

my old player was a 1gb Sansa - cute little thing with expandable sd slot.
