Sweet, got a pair of Audio Technica ATH-AD700s for under $70 new. I would have gone with the AD900s, but no one is selling them.

Keep checking every so often, it'll probably come back, that's the way it worked in the past.

Try different keywords and refresh the page often, look for the banner on the top/bottom or right hand side of the page.

Went back and bought a eVGA X58 (294.99) to go with the i7 920 (279.99).

294.99
257.99 (the 279.99 after 8% coupon)
-143.75 (73.75 and I get the full $70 on the processor apparently according to Live.com.)

Not a bad i7 Upgrade price :D

Buy.com sends out a regular invoice when you make an ebay purchase, so don't have to worry if I want to Step-Up.

Do NOT use coupons when using Live Cashback!

I used live cashback at the HP.com store, and about 2 months later I received an email stating my cashback was Canceled. I was able to get to a Live Cashback CSR via HP.com customer service, and Live Cashback told me the $105 cashback was denied because cause I used a $20 off coupon to during my purchase at the HP Store.

It is in their terms and conditions.

I didn't see any live cashback at all for me on live.com at 7am central this morning.

Actually, it's fine to stack Paypal coupons with Live cashback. I've done it twice now no problem
 
Its at 8% right now. Im hoping it goes back up because I want an MSI wind and 8% puts it at what I can get it from JR's right now.
 
Ugh, 25% come back. Was ready to pull the trigger on a 4850X2 or a 4870 or a 4870X2.

So you applied a Paypal coupon on your method of payment, not inside the shopping cart/invoice at the storefront. In that case that sort of discount is outside the purview of the Terms & Conditions.

I used a $20 off coupon inside the HP Store. The T&C states "You will not earn cash back awards on purchases where you also use a separate discount or coupon."

It may just be a case of YMMV. I imagine Microsoft is trying hard to save cash, and if they can save a few bucks - or in my case $105 - they will.

I was actually able to get a Live Cashback CSR to overturn their refusal just by asking nicely. The $105 posted to my cashback account yesterday. :D
 
you can use paypal coupons, i have done so a few times.

you cannot use company or manufacturer coupons, those will invalidate the cashback

the 25 needs to come back, i need a new video card
 
was about to cancel my preorder/backordered EPC1000HE netbook and get it on ebay for %25 off and no tax, but no go :( :(

*** wish i saw this earlier....
