Mouse freezes for a couple seconds then moves again.

Don't know what's wrong here, I'm thinking it's a issue with my ram. My ram is ddr2 800 running at 5-5-5-15 and I have a overclocked 2180 to 3.0.

I'm running 32-bit Vista with 4 gigs of ram and my computer freezes then regains itself.

Here is a shot of CPU, I don't know if it will help.

If you set your CPU back to stock speeds do you still get the problem?

The shot of the CPU doesn't really help since its too small for me to see...then again that could just be my 24". Anyways, it sounds like your nb is overheating. What FSB is it at and what mobo do you have?

Hmm...when ever it starts freezing again, touch the nb heatsink and see if it's too hot to touch. I've had this problem when I push my fsb to 1600. Try to lower the fsb and see if it still happen.

I put in back to stock and it doesn't happen as much but the response is still sorta slow.

I'm about to buy this board today.

Still happens, I think it's just Vista being a pig. Even with 4 gigs of ram

Don't think so. Could be caused by a number of issues. Even a hacker using your PC at the same time you are. Try another mouse, look at what apps and services you have loading that could maybe cause it.
