What's your current mp3 player?

My Zune 8GB Black is my daily jukebox. It's paired up with my Denon C551.

At home, I have a Zune 80 that I don't really use..

iPod Photo 60gb.

It's been breaking down over and over again (keep getting the sad ipod face) for a while now, and I keep fixing it either smacking it against something or opening it up and pushing the hard drive cable back into place.

Really want a Touch but have been holding out for a 64gb for a while now.

I have a ipod classic 80 gb and use songbird to manage all my music its great to be able to own a ipod and to use that dam itunes

Blackberry curve with 8gb micro sdhc. Before that, I had a 2gb Sansa clip and loved it. The sound quality of the clip was very nice for something that cheap. Easy to use, great battery life, has a removable clip and doesn't hurt your feelings or your wallet if it breaks or gets stolen.
My mother in law chose an ipod shuffle for her 5 year anniversary and hated it within a few days so I let her borrow mine. She loved the simplicity of the device and the drag and drop feature.

She gave up on the shuffle and asked for a mp3 player for Xmas. We found a great deal at Best Buy on a 4gb Fuse, which is a clip with a 2in screen for movies and pics. The size of the Fuze is similar to the last generation ipod nanos. Anyway, we popped in a 8gb card loaded with music, movies and pics and she couldn't be any happier.

Zune 80! Soon to be zune classic w/ my 80's HDD I hope. I just have to find one for cheap up in Canada ;)

jailbroken ipod touch 8 gb first gen

my brother uses a sansa fuse

I have a zune 80gb.

I've owned a first gen nano, and a 5th gen classic (which I basically gave away), and used for an extended period of time a 5th gen nano, and I gotta tell ya, The Zune software makes iTunes look like something from the 80s. Everything is auto done well. It found about 70% of my album art for me without me ever looking --which is hard to do because the majority of my music is from P2P (regrettably --the legal stuff I own is catching up though). Browsing through music is about about as enjoyable as coverflow could have been, had all my music been legit. The Zune hardware is nothing to write home about, nice big screen though, using it for just audio on medium brighness and 5 sec turn off, I get about 2 days out of it. If you watch video podcasts for prolonged periods of time it wont last pas 7 hrs. It's no worse than the iPod, no better than the ipod. Being something (something) of an audiophile this zune seems to have a lot less trouble going to those deep lows than the iPods I've used do.

That said, beyond music the iPod is really quite superior. Games, movies, accesories etc. The mp3 world is geard towards an ipod.

Zune 8GB red. I have approximately 7GB of music, so I don't need a really massive player. I prefer greater portability to greater capacity in an MP3 player, and the Zune is just a little smallter than my cell phone. Of course, right after I bought it, they started selling the 16GB Zune of the same physical size for not much more than I paid for the 8GB model. C'est la vie.

Plus, the batter lasts forever on the little Zune.

Sansa e250 2G plus a 2G micro SD card. :)

^ Same thing as him. Got it overpriced at Radioshack (compared to online) though. It's a nice little player with video support and drag-and-drop. Not sure about other Sansa models, but the e250 only has microSD support (no microSDHC), so expandability is limited if you need more than 4gb. Still waiting for rockbox support, but it's getting really close.

I expected more Cowon love.

Got an A3. Love it to death. Sound quality is amazing, and it plays just about every format. Video is awesome too. It's pretty big and a little uncool, but it is awesome at playing media. I'd much rather enjoy my music and videos by myself and look uncool than listen to some low quality headphone amp and some low quality DACs while jizzing my pants because I think I'm cool to have games and a touch screen on my music player with 8GB.

60GB please!

I also don't have any plans to replace this thing anytime soon. At least, not until it dies. How do you guys live on 16GB of music? Do you all just listen to one genre or something?

The tradeoff of durability to storage makes me want more storage. I find it very nice to be able to have music for all occasions and whatever mood I'm feeling in at my disposal.

I have an 8GB Zune (black), but I'm going to step up to larger capacity one, since my music collection has recently gone past the 8GB mark. I can wait for a little while yet, so I'm just waiting to see what the third gen. Zune hardware will be like. I like the Zune for the additional features it has, compared to most other players in it's "class." Despite what some people might say, I really like having the ability to pick up FM radio, without having to buy some add-on device, and being able to download music right from the player is a plus.

Also, I like the Zune software a lot more then iTunes, but I might be in the minority here. It would be nice if you could have the option to do drag-n-drop too, but I have no issues using the required software.

I have an old school Creative Zen Touch. It was supposed to be Creative's answer to the iPod wheel. I bought it because the battery life was double that of the ipod at the time. Still lasts 15 hours or so on a charge. Hard to go out and buy something else since it works so well.

I've got an iPod touch, and there is a first gen nano and second gen shuffle in the house as well. I love the various features of the touch - I didn't want to abandon my blackberry, but wanted a decent web browser for when I'm bored and around a wifi point. It's been an awesome device thus far!

I used my T-mobile MDA for a few years and it did well for me.

I have a g1 I could use now, however the ipod touch 16, I got with points from work does a very good job, I like it a whole lot.

Sansa Fuze 8gb. Great little player but I wish more accessories were available. One thing I would really love is an inline remote control similar to the one that was available on the 1st and 2nd gen Dell DJs.

purple 4th gen ipod nano, yea purple! tried a sansa, but just couldn't do it after having used an ipod for so long.

I've got an e250 running Rockbox right now. It works fine. It boots up to the old software for USB transfers since that's not supported in rockbox.

I just ignore the 1GB of internal memory and use the 4GB microSDHC :D

It used to be my wife's, but she bought an iPod nano for $102, I told her to send it back and get the iPod touch, because at least that's a cool overpriced gadget unlike the nano, which is just an overpriced mp3 player ;) . She's soooo addicted to it now and all its little apps.

I've also got a Philips GoGear 8GB that my dad gave me...his coworkers said they couldn't figure out how to make it work so they got an iPod. I charged it up via USB and it works fine drag/drop, no problems. They probably tried to use iTunes with it or something and coudn't make it work.

I had a Zen Xtra 30GB but that went to ebay a few months back. I don't really use mp3 players much.

Nokia N78 with 16gb microsd card.

- FM transmitter (listen to music through car radio)
- Good stereo speakers
- FM radio
- Streaming internet radio
- 3.5mm headphone connector

When I get the N97 (the wait is killing me), I'll step up to 48GB and not have to worry so much about storage (not just music, but apps, maps, and other data).

I had a 60GB Creative Zen Vision M, but someone stepped on it and cracked the screen. I would have gotten an iPod instead if I had to choose again. Clunky interface and chunky weight.

Just got a Cowon S9 for music/movies today! The AM-OLED screen is like nothing I've seen before. Black level is as black as when the screen is turned off. I think it's the coolest thing I've bought in my life :D

Here's a video of movie playback that I made:

got 120g ipod i just got for my bday. replaced my 20gig ipod photo i bought from [H]. didnt want to upgrade but i had more music then 20gigs and wife wanted my old one. just picked up a mini to workout with.

8 gig iphone 3g. I dont really keep much music on it any more, maybe 2Gb worth. I find myself using the pandora or last.fm apps for listening to music more than I listen to mp3's. Cant beat commercial free radio that lets you skip songs if you dont like them

I got a Sansa e260 4GB (v1 refurb) for $42 from newegg. I think it's the best money I've spent in a LONG time. Because it's a V1 I had to put rockbox on it to support SDHC cards. I threw the 8GB SDHC card I originally bought to play MP3's on my phone, and music is merged together perfectly. Might as well be a 12Gb player.... for $60 all told. :D

^ Same thing as him. Got it overpriced at Radioshack (compared to online) though. It's a nice little player with video support and drag-and-drop. Isn't the e250 just the 2GB version? For e260's a v1 works with SDHC cards with rockbox, a v2 supports it already (good thing since no rockbox support). So AFAIK you at least can't buy an e260 that is not SDHC capable in some way shape or form. It's only a matter of time until the 16GB cards are cheap as shit. :)

When I knew the differences between the v2 and v1, I hoped i got a v2 so I could use my card without "hacks." But I absolutely LOVE rockbox.
