Wow looks like some people actually have the image hotlinking concept down!!!

Oh and the headcrab is so much awesomness...
Yes, even MS paint resizes images. :p
It looks like you're using that desk to its full potential Fox. :) Dual 24" will probably fit that desk but probably not triple :p
I kinda wish it were a bit bigger, but I can't fit anything larger anyway. I figured that I would have to get some kind of mounts if I were to go triple 24". I would probably move the desk away from the wall a bit too. I think I would need to either move the movable shelves either to the top or bottom. If I ever move, I'll take your Galant off your hands when you get sick of it. :p
Are you getting rid of your fw900?
Eventually. Only because I can't really run multiple monitors effectively with it. Need to find some decent inexpensive monitors first. IPS is kinda a requirement, so that automatically makes things difficult. I still want to take it to quakecon one more time though. If you are interested in it, you would have to be local (Dallas) to pick it up. I don't have the means to ship it. When I bought it, it actually came on a pallet and the delivery guy wheeled it into the middle of my living room. It was bloody huge: http://stfcc.org/bluefox/photos/PC/DSC00225.JPG

My current workstation. It isn't the neatest thing around, but it works for me. Still considering triple 24" monitors (no more FW900 though). You can click the images to enlarge them if you would like.

Nice desk Blue Fox! There's a like new Jerker like yours, with the two shelves, on Craigslist for only $75 but sadly I already have the 50" Frederick. :(

I've been looking at getting those speakers for a while but the price is holding me back. What do you think of them? Value for money?

its alittle pricey to me but i got this on sale,so its good value and, its an excellent computer speaker, if money is not a problem get the bose 5.1 set.just better.

Yeah. They're pretty close. I prefer the curved front of the Jerker however. Even at $125, I still think I got a pretty decent deal. I actually bought it from another member here on the forum (Tai).

I actually sold the L Galant and now ghave the 63" long Galant which I prefer for my room size. Just let me know if you're looking for a L shape Galant. I'll try to get some pictures up this weekend.

Edit: You got PM fox.

yeah i too have the 63" galant. got it about a week ago. i will post pics tonight once i finish the re arrangement.

Lol @ this thread. Some of you have great setups, but how do some of you college kids have all of that high end stuff? I guess there is no such thing as broke and in school anymore. Some of you that are in school and "broke" have more than I have now, and I have a lot of crap... lol.

Nope, it's called Debt + School :D

I remember my college days, those first credit cards that required nothing more than a signature to secure a $5000 limit, buying myself all kinds of wonderful things... and then my dad's furious phone calls over receiving massive Visa and Mastercard bills. "What are talking about, dad? They never told me I had to make payments or about compounding interest rates and late fees..." :p

Working two jobs + going to school full time? I did that until recently (down to one job now). Pays for school and all my other toys. Saved up enough while doing that that I could finish the rest of school without working/taking out loans.

yeah i work 2 jobs and do online school part time. no way i could go full time and have 2 jobs

Went back to the samsung 204 b as my monitor.

Yo dawg I heard you like... oh wait, wrong forum for that one.

I got that same light-up keyboard after years of being fed up with non-lightup/wireless keyboards. It looks wicked with the red light switched on, but the blue is the only way to go. I donno who would set it to purple, though.

Here's my setup. The 2 pc's are on a KVM switch. AMD pc on the left and Intel on the right. 12ch mixer is what I run the yamaha motif 8 through, as well as guitars/vocals etc. Works well for me.

I like it, the only time I use purple is if I'm trying to type a paper or something in the dark.

mutti_wilson, very nice bro, love your setup!

I did finally move into the house I was talking about a few pages back.

Here's a quick shot of the part of the room that is done (the other corners are filled with my other crap).

Please note that I still have yet to get my speakers, sub, and receiver.

Sorry about quoting myself, but here's a closer shot of my primary computer setup:

My aluminum MacBook is usually in the blank space but I was using it for something else at the time.

yeah, that Motif is a $2K keyboard/sampler. I personally have not messed with it, but I hear good things about it....was gonna get the Roland Phantom X8, but decided that I don't need to spend any more money on gear, I'll just sample the sounds for my MPC1000......lol

Yeah, it's got more capability than I do! I actually got it for way way less than that due to a cracked motherboard. I repaired the traces and everything works great. Love deals like that.

I really like the LCD flat against the table like that... very clean looking.

A new desk and some sweet lighting would totally make that look hot

ive been looking through this thread for way to long, finally made a log in so i could post mine. nothing to crazy. sorry there kinda dark.

new laptop. i posted this in my laptop pictures but here is a little more appropriate because it's more of my work station.

First off... here's how my workstation looked earlier today (Okay, so maybe this was taken a month ago... but I swear it still looked pretty much like this when I woke up this morning!)

IMG_0077.jpg

Here's how it looks now after some re-arranging... moved the printer to the sidetable, moved the compy (POS Dell XPS 400. Pentium D 3.2 GHz, 2GB RAM, 250GB Hard-Drive, just "upgraded" the GPU to a GeForce 9600GT) to the floor beside my rolly-cart...

So, who wants to take a wild guess what's going in that big new empty space on my desk? :D And yes, my POS Dell will be getting a SERIOUS replacement at the same time!

Oh.... my TV setup:
